You start the game at the Ancient Era and visit different civilizations at intervals of 200 years on average. Each of these contains a city that fits the theme of that era.

Before you can move from one epoch to the next, you must construct 5 buildings in each and level them all up. In general, each building has 5 levels. Their type or size does not matter, nor is one of them a priority over the other. If you build a total of 5 buildings and upgrade each to level 5, you will complete that epoch and automatically advance to the next. It’s a simple mechanic, but it directly affects your progress in the game. For example, you cannot enjoy most of the game’s features until you reach the fifth epoch. So, how do you build and level up buildings? Coins are used for both: at the top left of the main interface, you can see the total amount of coins you currently have. You have to use coins for each building construction and upgrade, and the required amount is getting higher and higher.
