In this Call of Duty: Mobile weapon guide, you will be learning about a new weapon that has been added to the game. The weapon is Holger 26, a new light machine gun introduced in Season 4. Like all the other LMGs, it has low recoil, good damage range, and plenty of ammo. Unlike other LMGs, it comes with two unique magazines, which can turn into totally different weapons. It is a versatile LMG that can be adapted to many different sizes and situations.
LMGs got balanced in the recent weapon update and they now pack more power in mid to long-range combat with better accuracy and worse mobility. Holger 26 is a very unique LMG in its kind. It not only has all the advantages like other LMGs, but also can be used as an assault rifle or even an SMG in close-range combat. Holger 26 Stats
Holger 26 is a good LMG with low recoil, fast fire rate, and great mobility when equipping the unique mag. By default, it has 100 bullets in the magazine, with a fire rate of 707 rounds per minute. Its fire rate is at the top level of LMGs, just slightly slower than the Chopper. The quick reload time of the weapon is 1.9 seconds, and the full reload time is 3.2 seconds.
Its ADS speed is 518 milliseconds, which is very slow, as expected for an LMG. However, this is not an issue for Holger anymore, thanks to its unique mag. The movement speed is 6.2 meters/second, and the ADS movement speed is 2.7 meters/second, which again is kind of slow. Its base status is quite average compared to other LMGs, but its overall performance is at the top of the class.
Damage and Range
Now let’s take a look at the damage and range of this weapon, to see how it performs in terms of time to kill in different ranges. Holger 26 is a powerful weapon that can cater to different situations. As an LMG, the weapon’s TTK is well above the average, thanks to its high fire rate. It deals 31 damage up to 17 meters, 25 damage from 18 to 25 meters, and 21 damage beyond that. The weapon has 2 standard body multipliers, a headshot deals 1.2 times normal damage. It can 4 shots to kill up to 25 meters, which is the main strength of this weapon. In MP, its TTK is surprisingly good.
Weapons with better TTK usually have less range than the Holger, on the other hand, weapons with a similar range usually have worse TTK. In BR it’s a different story. Due to the damage reduction from the vest, weapon damage is not consistent in BR, it has 1 floating damage in all ranges. Even though there is damage reduction, the time to kill figure of the Holger is still quite impressive in close to mid-range. Like all the other LMGs, the weapon has the advantage in longer range combat, as its damage drop is not very significant compared to the SMG or AR. The only drawback of LMGs is their low mobility, that’s why they are not as popular as SMGs or ARs even with good TTK.
However, the Holger comes with two unique mags, which can turn it into an SMG or AR. This is completely a game changer for the LMG. As a result, this weapon can respond flexibly to any situation. The main strength of Holger 26 depends on its good TTK and unique attachments. It’s clearly the new meta of this game, it’s a powerful weapon with unique attachments.
Holger 26 MP Loadout
In MP games, weapon mobility is very important, it determines how fast you can kill. You will try to convert the Holger to an SMG to enhance its close-range combat ability. By using the Lightweight Polymer Mag, the weapon mobility got improved in all aspects, which makes Holger the quickest LMG in the game. We think it is a must-have attachment for MP build. To boost the weapon mobility even further, you will use the MIP Light Barrel (Short) and No Stock. These attachments will turn the Holger into an SMG, which is amazing to use in MP. Next, you choose the Granulated Grip tape and the Tactical Laser, to improve weapon accuracy as well as ADS speed.
This is a max mobility build. When compared to the default weapon, it performed brilliantly well. First of all, let’s test the ADS speed. The default ADS speed is 31 frames, which is 518 milliseconds. With this build, the ADS time is reduced by half, which is about the average of SMGs. Just imagine using the Holger like an SMG with such a good TTK and damage range. It will rule the game. Next, let’s compare the recoil patterns. The bullet spread accuracy of the default Holger is not bad, and it has a bit of horizontal recoil waggling from right to the left. Since we only have 30 bullets in the magazine with this MP build, the vertical recoil is not as big as the default. It is not difficult to control the recoil, even though the accuracy is barely improved.
To sum up, this is a max mobility build, that provides the best mobility and better damage range, at the cost of the mag size. It really dominates the close to mid-range combat, and can 4-shot kill up to 25 meters.
Holger 26 BR Loadout
In BR games, the weapon damage range is always the first concern. However, there is only one attachment for the Holger to improve the weapon damage range. So the Monolithic Suppressor is the first pick for BR build even though it can only increase the damage range by 25%. Apart from the damage range, weapon accuracy is also very important in BR. Use the Steady Stock to improve weapon accuracy and flinch stability. It helps in horizontal recoil as well. Then choose the Granulated Grip Tape, and the Tactical Laser to boost weapon accuracy to the next level. To finish up the build, you can use the Double Stack Mag if you prefer to use the Holger as an assault rifle.
This is a well-rounded BR build. You trade weapon mobility for better range and accuracy in this build, however, the ADS speed is still better than regular LMGs, thanks to the double stack mag. Even though the ADS speed is not too bad, it is still slower than most assault rifles. You should always try to engage the enemies from a longer range. Next, let’s compare the recoil patterns. As you will see, the bullet spread accuracy is significantly improved with this BR build. Even the vertical recoil is very low as well, which is very easy to control. This can help you to eliminate our enemies in a longer range.
The Holger can be found on the floor as Rare and Epic blueprints, or from the Airdrops as a custom weapon. To sum up, this is a well-rounded build with better damage range and good accuracy, specially designed for BR. It also provides better weapon mobility and easy to control recoil.
