Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics
Talking about gameplay mechanics, there’s not much to say in respect to Cat Hero: Idle RPG. The game plays quite straight-forwardly, almost mind numbingly, making it easy for a casual gamer to get into. The core gameplay loop revolves around merging releasing fishes, merging them, and obtaining Fish coins for each new fish you discover. All of this activity is done on the bottom side of the UI. In the top side, you can see your Cat hero fighting different enemies, sometimes they are hordes of underlying minions, or at other times, they are full-fledged bosses. You can directly help your Cat hero to win fights by tapping on the enemy and shooting thunder zaps at them to inflict damage. Nonetheless, the majority of the damage will be carried out by your cat hero at all times.
Your Cat hero will fight monsters automatically using the weapon, skills, companions, and equipment they are provided. As the player, you will only have control over your cat hero’s strength and the rest of the aspects. You are going to be handling all the back-end resource side of the things to ensure your cat hero is at the strongest peak as it can be currently. Keep in mind that you can get a ton of resources by simply clearing the early game stages.
Resources are also given through the Idle mechanics that allow you to not worry about being logged for the entire duration. Make sure to login at least once every day to claim your offline earnings as they do not stack up more than 24 hours at a time. Alternatively, players can also check out some active redeem codes that offer juicy rewards and are shared by the developers themselves.
