Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat has finally released globally after being in development for over 3 years! This Action RPG has a lot to show for the time missed, as it is currently trending worldwide. The game follows up on the events that happened in Devil May Cry 3, and continues to expand onto the storyline with fresh voice-overs and narrative building. Although, the core aspect and focus of the game remains to be the adrenaline pumping action combat it has to offer for players worldwide. In this tier list for Devil May Cry: Peak of Combat, we will be focusing on rating all the hunters currently available in the game at the time of global launch. As a beginner, you will be enticed to know that each Hunter is an alternate form of 4 main characters – Dante, Vergil, Nero, and Lady. Although they retain similarities, the play styles are completely unique! Players can customize the choice of weapons and weapon abilities across all hunters. However, Hunters do retain some unique skills of their own such as ultimate abilities, QTE abilities, and much more. A handy tip would be to redeem active codes for bonus resources as you will need a lot of them on your quest to summon the strongest hunters. Let’s get right into the tier list!

S Tier Hunters

Let’s take a look at some of the hunters in this tier:

One-Man Show (Dante)

One-Man Show is a Legendary grade hunter that deals Electric elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Rock of the Night reads as follows – “Get ready to rock out tonight! Unleash demonic power on the surrounding targets, applying a weakening effect and inflicting electrical damage.”   

Count Thunder (Vergil)

Count Thunder-Vergil, an awesome new electric damage dealer, dazzles with his flexible combat style and impressive damage output. With signature moves like Rapid Slash and Judgment Dance, he commands the battlefield, accumulating MP through basic attacks and his unique style skill, Blistering Swords. After executing Rapid Slash five times consecutively at full concentration, Count Thunder-Vergil unleashes his devastating ultimate skill, Judgment Dance, inflicting massive damage on his targets.

Endless Judgement (Vergil)

Endless Judgement is a Legendary grade hunter that deals Physical elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Judgement Cut End reads as follows – “Slash targets at multiple locations using master-level swordsmanship, disrupting dimensions around the targets, inflicting Physical damage.”   

Frosty Grace (Lady)

Frosty Grace is a Legendary grade hunter that deals Ice elemental damage with her attacks. Her ultimate ability Frosty Blitz reads as follows – “Unleash a flurry of attacks at lightning speed, leaving only afterimages in your wake, inflicting tons of Ice damage.”

Royal Guard (Dante)

Royal Guard is a Legendary grade hunter that deals Physical elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Devil Trigger reads as follows – “By comprehending the essence of demonic blood, Dante can assume his demonic form. If needed, he can revert to his human form by tapping the same button once more. Devil Trigger becomes available when MP reaches 1000 with an activation cost of 200 MP, then 100 MP for every second for the remainder of the activation period. While Devil Triggered, resilience is greatly enhanced, increase physical damage by 10% and gain 18 Rage every second.”   

Fists of Salvation (Dante)

Fists of Salvation is a Legendary grade hunter that deals Fire elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Sin-Rising Dragon reads as follows – “Concentrate all demonic power in a fist before unleashing a devastating uppercut that reaches for the cloud, inflicting tons of Fire damage. After hitting a target, generate a wheel of flame that can fill Burn gauge with great efficiency.”   

A Tier Hunters

Nomadic Lightning (Vergil)

Nomadic Lightning is an Epic grade hunter that deals Electric elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Devil Trigger reads as follows – “Vergil unleashes the power of Sarda, consuming demonic power to become Devil Triggered. Tap the ultimate skill button as time to undo Devil Trigger. Devil Trigger becomes available when MP reaches 600 with an activation cost of 200 MP, then 100 MP for every second for the remainder of the activation period. While Devil Triggered increase electrical damage by 17%.” 

Devil Crusher (Vergil)

Devil Crusher is an Epic grade hunter that deals Physical elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Hell on Earth reads as follows – “Concentrate all power on a fist before slamming onto the ground and generating a powerful energy wave, inflicting a lot of physical damage.”   

Spark Ignite (Lady)

Spark Ignite is an Epic grade hunter that deals Fire elemental damage with her attacks. Her ultimate ability Full-Scale Explosion reads as follows – “Toss a large number of grenades to the surrounding areas, inflicting a lot of Fire damage.”   

B Tier Hunters

Demon Hunter (Dante)

Demon Hunter is a Rare grade hunter that deals physical elemental damage with his attacks. His ultimate ability Devil Trigger reads as follows – “By comprehending the essence of demonic blood, Dante can assume his demonic form. If needed, he can revert to his human form by tapping the same button once more. Devil Trigger becomes available when MP reaches 1000 with an activation cost of 100 MP, then 60 MP for every second for the remainder of the activation period. While Devil Triggered, resilience is greatly enhanced, increase physical damage by 20%.”

Swift Arsenal (Lady)

Swift Arsenal is a Rare grade hunter that deals Physical elemental damage with her attacks. Her ultimate ability Moment of Detonation reads as follows – “Use the sweeping fire of SMG to toss a wave of grenades at the targets, drowning them in a sea of explosions, inflicting tons of physical damage. If the number of targets hit is more than 3, decrease the damage inflicted on exceeding targets.”   

Knight of the Order (Nero)

Knight of the Order is a Rare grade hunter that deals Fire elemental damage with his attacks. Her ultimate ability Exceed reads as follows – “Enter an Exceeded state, enhance all passive skills. Tap the button again to cancel the exceeded state. When MP reaches 1000, Exceeds become available. Activating Exceed costs 200 MP and 100 MP for every second for the remainder of the period. While Exceeded, overall resilience and tenacity are increased.”
