We have also listed all of their active abilities so players can better gauge their in-game performance. Here are the 4 different classes available in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution:
- Archer
- Warrior
- Cleric
- Sorceress
Archer Class
The Archer class is a ranged class in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. It makes use of the lightning fast bow and arrow to deal damage to enemies from afar. The in-game description for Archers reads as following – “The Archer mostly uses ranged attacks to hold off the enemy from a distance. A formidable part of any party, the Archer possesses considerable melee abilities as well.” One of the best options for new players in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution is considered as the archers due to their flexibility into any role except a healer/supporter. The Archers are blessed with high damage stats, pertaining to mostly Attack Speed, Attack, Attack Range, Accuracy, Critical Hit Rate, and Critical Hit Damage. Archers are also quite agile on the battlefield, thanks to their high movement speed.
Archer’s performance on the battlefield is entirely dependent on how much damage they can dish out in the shortest period of time. This number is denoted by Damage Per Second (DPS). Archers should be placed in the backline always, due to their squishy nature which makes them susceptible to quick death if they get hit multiple times.
The skills of the Archer class are as follows:
Normal Attack – Deals 80% damage to a single target in front.
Magic Arrow – Quickly shoot a magical arrow that causes an explosion. Deals damage equal to 26.38% attack and elemental attack.
Double Shot – Shoot 2 powerful arrows in succession. Deals damage equal to 25.35% attack and elemental attack.
Cyclone Kick – While spinning around, unleash a powerful attack on surrounding enemies using both legs. Deals damage equal to 65.50% attack and elemental attack.
Warrior Class
The Warrior class is a melee class in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. It makes use of the mighty sword to pave its way through the enemy lines. The in-game description for Warriors reads as following – “The Warrior is the proudest of the heroes. With high maneuverability and area attacks, the Warrior has the important role of breaking through the enemy’s formation and interrupting chants.” The Warrior is also considered as one of the best starting choices for a beginner due to their easy-to-play nature. Warriors can be played as a damage dealer, and as a Tank as well. This is due to their versatility, thanks to their stats. The Warriors are blessed with medium damage and defensive stats, pertaining to mostly Attack, Attack Range, Critical Hit Rate, Critical Hit Damage, and Defense. Warriors also have a huge HP pool assigned to them, making them survive longer in direct combat.
Warrior’s performance on the battlefield is entirely dependent on how much damage they can soak instead of damage dealt. Hence, their DPS is on the low side but their overall usability is great due to their tank nature. They should be paired with a high-DPS damage dealer and Cleric in the backline whom they can protect while taking hits for the team on the frontline.
The skills of the Warrior class are as follows:
Normal Attack – Deals 80% damage to a single target in front.
Impact Punch – Unleash a powerful attack with the right hand, sending the enemy flying. Deals damage equal to 101.25% attack and elemental attack.
Heavy Slash – Raise your weapon above your head, and smash violently downwards. Deals damage equal to 169.61% attack and elemental attack.
Spinning Slash Kick – Move forward swiftly and do a horizontal sweep with your weapon. Deals damage equal to 180% attack and elemental attack.
Cleric Class
The Cleric class is a melee ranged class in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. It makes use of the lightning hammer to deal damage to enemies from afar. The in-game description for Clerics reads as following – “The Cleric brings tremendous glory to a team. They always stand on the front lines to protect their allies behind them, while also providing helpful blessings and healing.” The clerics are often considered as the weaker class to pick and choose in most MMORPG games but not in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. This is due to the fact that they are self-sustainable even when playing solo since they are given some decent damage numbers on their abilities. The Clerics are blessed with high tanking and supportive stats, pertaining to mostly Health, Defense, Accuracy, Healing, and Movement speed.
Cleric’s performance on the battlefield is entirely dependent on how much they can heal or buff allies to keep them alive at any cost. Many times, the Clerics are also sent to the frontline to tank hits for their damage dealers due to their innate bulky nature.
The skills of the Cleric class are as follows:
Normal Attack – Deals 80% damage to a single target in front.
Thunderbolt – Unleash a powerful upwards strike with your weapon, sending them flying and summoning a lightning attack. Deals damage equal to 39.50% attack and elemental attack.
Chain Lightning – Use magical light to summon and shoot tiny lightning strikes along the ground in four directions. There is a 50% chance of electrocuting the target. Deals damage equal to 42.38% attack and elemental attack.
Divine Shockwave – Attacks enemies with a powerful divine light, binding them in place. Deals damage equal to 52.33% attack and elemental attack.
Sorceress Class
The Sorceress class is a ranged class in Dragon Nest 2: Evolution. It makes use of the lightning fast bow and arrow to deal damage to enemies from afar. The in-game description for Sorceress reads as following – “The Sorceress are the embodiment of magic and wisdom. They possess powerful attacks and extraordinary battlefield control and are one of the main damage dealers of the team.” Sorceress are not meant to be played by a beginner due to their tough gameplay mechanics that will take time to learn and master. At their peak, they are the best damage dealers that Dragon Nest 2: Evolution has to offer. The Sorceress are blessed with high damage stats, pertaining to mostly Attack Speed, Attack, Attack Range, Accuracy, Critical Hit Rate, and Critical Hit Damage.
Sorceress’s performance on the battlefield is entirely dependent on how much damage they can dish out in the shortest period of time. Hence, their playstyle is quite similar to Archers but they also have access to control abilities that can stop enemies right in their tracks. They should be paired with Clerics and Warriors to make sure they are kept alive and not be focused down first since Sorceress’s are quite squishy in nature.
The skills of the Sorceress class are as follows:
Normal Attack – Deals 80% damage to a single target in front.
Glacial Spike – After accumulating cold air, launch a Glacial pierce attack. Deals damage equal to 27.75% attack and elemental attack.
Flame Bug – Summons a flame bug that launches a fire attack forward. Deals damage equal to 28.50% attack and elemental attack.
Quake – Quickly unleash a magical attack that inflicts Knockback on surrounding enemies. Deals damage equal to 56.75% attack and elemental attack.
