The official storyline of Dragon Nest 2: Evolution reads as follows – “The goddess Altea, the creator of Dragon Valley, was poisoned by her evil sister Vestinel and fell into a deep sleep. In her sleep, the world of Archerin was born. The invading shadows devastated this continent and destroyed life in this land. Mankind became selfish and greedy and an unprecedented calamity has befallen this pure land. Until a group of adventurers came to this land, fought against the dragon, and found the power stone that helped them awaken the sleeping goddess from her slumber and save her world.”

The gameplay mechanics of Dragon Nest 2: Evolution are quite similar to current generational touch, tap, and aim MMORPGs. This type of combat system is not only in demand but also considered more immersive than your standard touch-and-tap system as it takes into consideration a lot of different tactical skills. Players need to move and dodge at the right times in order to gain an advantage over their enemy. Dragon Nest 2: Evolution is also going to feature over 4 different and unique classes, each with their own set of active and passive abilities which help the player get the advantage according to different situations. 

A set of features that are exclusive to combat and world viewing are also available. Mounts, for example, can be equipped for players outside of battle to explore the vast open world of Archerin. As we previously mentioned briefly, it is confirmed by the developers and some of the beta testers that Dragon Nest 2: Evolution will start with 4 different classes to choose from. Feels low? Well, there’s a big catch associated with these classes. After you play with them for a while and reach a certain threshold, you will be given an opportunity to choose a second sub-class along with the original class. There are in total 8 sub-classes offered for each class, making the choices shoot up to 32 variations.

Graphics and Art Style of Dragon Nest 2: Evolution

If you are one of those players who like to judge a game according to its graphics or simply like playing a game that offers flashy animations and modern graphics, then Dragon Nest 2: Evolution is going to be the perfect game for you! It features a stunning variety of crisp and clear animations coupled with visual aids to enhance the overall gameplay experience. 

The animated cutscenes are also in line with the rest of the game, giving the storyline a more immersive feel. You can even choose your own graphic settings from the Settings menu if you want to configure the overall FPS values and graphical settings, or simply to reduce the overall resolution of the game to better match your device. Nonetheless, it plays brilliantly at full FPS and graphical settings, with no lags or crashes observed.

If you’re looking for multiple PvE and PvP-based game modes, then Dragon Nest 2: Evolution will also fulfill this ambition of yours. As it has already been tested and released in the China region, the developers seem to have a lot of game modes already ready and available to be played by the masses on the global launch day. While the company has not yet revealed all the details, we were able to gauge the responses from their official website as well as the overall response from the community on the official discord server who have played the CN version of the game. 

For PvP lovers, fight in the murky Arena where different opponents await your challenge in both real-time and automated battles. A host of rewards are also available for the top rankers in the Arena. A proper functional Guild system is also expected to be available in the global launch version. For the PvE buffs, slay large monsters with unique mechanics, play together with your friends in a massive co-op mode, or simply raid multiple dungeons for obtaining strong equipment.
