Tip #1. Choosing the Right Class 

Echoes of Eternity offers a wide variety of classes, each with its own strengths and weaknesses. Choosing the right class for your playstyle is crucial, but it’s equally important to have a balanced party composition if the game allows for team-based gameplay. Class selection happens right at the beginning of the game, and players are given a choice to select 1 out of 4 different characters:

• Wanderer – Hand holding a sharp blade, the knife light dances wildly. The flames of the sky and ground, walking alone in the rivers and lakes, shaking all heroes.
• Luthier – Agile fingers, lingering musical notes, soothing melodies, healing all beings!
• Reaper – Dance with the long spear, the wind sweeps through the clouds. The pure power of Yuan, shattering the void and breaking through the sky breaker dome. 
• Fencer – The sword points to the blue sky, and the sword breaks the void. The sword is swung to ask about love, and the chivalrous spirit and tender heart accompany the king’s heart.

Tip #2. Focus on the Main Story Quests

In games like Echoes of Eternity, the main quests often double down as the tutorial for the game. You are given little to no hand holding from the get-go and are free to explore the open world. Naturally, things might get confusing at times, and that’s why the developers have set up an intricate set of missions that you will see on the top left-hand side of the main menu. Simply click on the quests and the AI (Artificial Intelligence) will redirect you to the mission area. Or, you can enable the auto-questing feature if you’re not having time to manually read through the dialogues but still want to progress.

The quests pave the path for your character development in the game on top of helping you get more account experience to level up and unlock new game modes. Of course, the juicy rewards for clearing each quest is a bonus! 

Tip #3. Idle Combat is Key 

Echoes of Eternity is an Idle game in its own right even though it supports lush open-worlds and a thematic action-packed combat system. While learning combat mechanics is equally important, what’s more important is to farm indefinitely and progress. There’s a handy Idle combat mode that allows your character to continuously slay mobs of enemies. Just ensure that you leave the character in an area where mobs spawn the most. We would recommend checking out the red dots on the mini-map as they indicate where the enemies are. 

Idle combat will not only help you get more experience and other crucial resources, but it will also help you hone your combat skills. After a certain point of time, you will be too strong to farm in your current location. That’s when you switch up the location and try to find higher level enemies to fight and reap even more resources as rewards. 

Tip #4. Level up Pets!

Pets are the bread & butter for you in all combat situations. These handy companions will accompany you anywhere you go in the world, and help you fight the bad guys with everything they’ve got. Pets have unique active and passive abilities that can be made stronger as you level them up. It’s imperative that you focus on firstly acquiring strong pets and secondly levelling them up for more power ratings. Your rating is a cumulative stat that denotes your fighting capacity, and pet’s play a huge role in contributing to that number.

Tip #5. Equipment Upgrades are Amazing!

Your character’s power largely comes from their equipment. In Echoes of Eternity, gear upgrades can drastically improve your performance. Pay attention to the rarity of items. Higher-rarity gear comes with better stats and special bonuses, making a huge difference in combat. Always prioritize upgrading rare or legendary gear over common equipment. 

Most RPGs, such as Echoes of Eternity, include enhancement systems that allow you to raise the level of your gear. Focus on improving important items like weapons and armor to boost your survivability and damage output. Some equipment sets provide bonuses when numerous components are equipped. If possible, try to complete gear sets that offer significant bonuses, particularly in late-game content.
