Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics
Fate: Goddess Awakening harbors a strategic yet Idle real-time battling system that cannot be called turn-based per say but it works in the similar manner. Each character on the battlefield, be it the enemy or ally, takes an action on their own given turn in each round. Characters do the actions by themselves, and players have no control over their usage of abilities. This can make it quite frustrating for tactical lovers but do not worry, you can still control the usage of the ultimate abilities of all characters at the tap of a button. These are powerful abilities that can do a lot of different things, depending on the type of character.
The match is played in a 9×9 square area given to both enemies and allies. Up to a maximum of 9 characters can be deployed at a time. Players can progress through the main adventure mode to unlock more quality-of-life features pertaining to combat such as auto mode, 3X Battle Speed, and more. A strong formation of heroes is recommended for higher levels of the adventure mode.

Players can get a ton of rewards and resources by simply completing quests that are assigned to them on a daily and weekly basis. These quests reset on a daily and weekly basis, respectively. Understanding the Summoning System
Fate: Goddess Awakening is a hero collector RPG at its core that allows players to summon for different characters, called “Agents” in official in-game terminology. The game makes use of a classic gacha system where different Agents are listed in different rarities. Players can then summon on different types of summoning banners using their premium currencies or summoning tickets. The game does a great job at providing a ton of summons at the beginning of the game. Make use of the initial summons to either re-roll for multiple 5-Star Agents or simply save them over time.
Here are the different summoning banners available in the game at the time of global launch:
- Normal Summon – Players can get random 3-5 Star Agents by summoning on this banner. You can summon on this banner using your owned Normal Summoning tickets. This is a great way to get Agents on a regular basis. Players are given 1 free summon each day on this banner.
- Advanced Summon – Players can get random 4-5 Star Agents by summoning on this banner. You can summon on this banner using your owned Advanced Summoning tickets or spending Diamonds. This is the best way to get some of the best agents in the game.
- Friendship Summon – Players can get random 3-5 Star Agents by summoning on this banner. You can summon on this banner using your owned Friendship points. This is a great way to get Agents via free-to-play and accessible method. Players can send & receive friendship points on a daily basis.
