Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers is a brand-new strategy 4X MMO title that is scheduled to release sometime this year or next year. The game is set in the fictional Monsterverse surrounding mythical giants such as Godzilla and King Kong. Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics

At the core, Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers deploys a turn-based combat system for all its battle needs. Players need to carefully understand what each of their allies and enemies skills are and devise strategies to counter them. The battle happens in a round-based order wherein each ally and enemy get a turn in the specific round. The turn-order of the battle can be viewed from the right-hand side of the battle screen. 

On your turn, you can choose to select which skills of your heroes you would like to use against the enemy. Simply tap on the enemy to select them. There are different types of skills and abilities. Some are single targeted, while others affect a large area of enemies (AOE). 

Coming to quality-of-life features, the game also features 2X battle speed and auto-battle mode that players can use if they know it’s going to be a guaranteed win. Whenever any ally or enemy uses their basic attacks, they will earn a battle currency called “Action Points”. These points can be utilized to further use enhanced abilities from their skillsets, effectively dealing more damage and gaining more utility in battles. On top of each ally/enemy on the battlefield, you will see a green bar. This represents their total health or HP, and when this falls to 0, the ally/enemy will perish in battle. The winner of the battle is the player who manages to kill the entire enemy team. 

Research New Technologies

As you begin your adventures in Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers, multiple buildings with different use cases will be awaiting your arrival. The Research building is perhaps the core that allows you to enhance your stats and other combat aspects. It allows players to research new technologies that improve several aspects of combat such as increased stats for your characters, increased power level, and higher EXP gain from stages. It’s imperative that you strategically upgrade the technologies that will boost your progression. 

Quests and Missions

Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers is a live-service game that players need to play online on a regular basis daily to get resources. One of the core ways to consistently get more resources in the game is by simply completing the daily and weekly quests that offer generous rewards. The quests are quite easy to complete and do not take too much time if you have a strong team of chasers. Chasers, for those wondering, is the official terminology used to describe the characters in the game. 

The quests are important to complete for a streamlined progression as they are the main source of premium currencies and other resources. It’s advised that you carefully look at the quests and fulfill them as soon as they are available. Many of them are tutorial related missions that explain the different game systems. 

Summon Strong Characters and Create Tactical Rosters

One of the most interesting aspects of Godzilla x Kong: Titan Chasers remains to be team-building. Players are free to create strategic and tactical squads composed of different characters. These characters can be summoned via the innate gacha system or recruited by collecting their shards from different events.
