Honkai: Star Rail has recently update to version 2.7, announcing the release of the new Cosmic Home Décor event. The premise of the event is simple – decorate your room using supply credits. The Cosmic Home Decor event invites players to unleash their creativity and design skills by decorating rooms with a cosmic theme. This limited-time event is designed to reward imagination and engagement while also providing valuable in-game resources.

Overview of the Cosmic Home Décor Event

The Cosmic Home Décor event can already be seen live in-game as it started on 4th December, 2024 and ends on 13th January, 2025. To play this event, you must first unlock it. Unlocking the Cosmic Home Decor event is rather simple. The only requirement is that your account (Trailblazer) level should be 21 or higher. If you meet the requirements, the event will show up in your Travel Log.

Simply select the event and teleport to the starting point. To begin the event, you will receive the Cosmic Home Decor Guide: Prologue quest, which you can begin by teleporting to the Party Car from the Travel Log. The event revolves around decorating virtual spaces using a variety of themed furniture, decorations, and cosmic ornaments provided by the event or unlocked through tasks.  

After you have unlocked the event and finished the prologue quest, the real fun begins! The event’s main attraction is a card game, wherein your card number decides the number of turns you move forward. Each card holds one of the Astral Express crew, with the additions of a few guests. The cards are basically “duties” done by the character, so picking a card of Dan Heng will increase his duty count. 

Aside from that, there are tiles that you can move on dependent on the Action card number. These tiles correspond to specific events, therefore selecting the right ones might be really advantageous. After utilizing a specific number of cards, you will reach the end of the day and must submit a report. To earn points and a high Pom Pom score, turn in the characters with the greatest duties. The higher your final score, the more supply credits you get for your purchases. After three dinner meetings, your daily leader will change. Each leader adds a unique skill and modifies the daily tasks slightly.

Action Cards

When using your action cards, ensure to know about the future tiles. Check the number of cards in your hand and calculate landing on a multiplier on the board instead of a disaster marked by an exclamation mark. Doing so will help you get more levels for your character. Ideally, try to level up your leader the highest to make dinner meetings easier.

Dinner Meeting Evaluations

During dinner meetings, the best approach to get a high score is to use many copies of the same character to multiply the points. Selecting five reports of the same character yields the highest possible score. But what if you don’t share the same characteristics? Use the Mental Reset button to re-draw as many different reports as you want. This way, you have a better possibility of receiving more reports about the same character.

It is also recommended that reports be submitted with the highest quality of characters. So, if March 7th had the highest score during the conference, strive to obtain five copies of March 7th for the report. If you can’t do that, consider the next character with the highest score.
