Honor of Heirs Class Guide - The Best Classes for Every Play Style
The new Honor of Heirs lets players choose between three different classes, giving everyone some decent variety when it comes to the play styles that they can find in this mobile MMORPG. This variety is further increased by the fact that each class has two distinct specializations, which can either improve the base combat style and skills, or change them completely and give players more tools to approach combat in different ways.
With such variety at your disposal, it can be tough knowing which class is the best for your specific play style. In this sense, we’ve created this Honor of Heirs class guide where you can learn the basics about each of the classes in this game, and find the one that’s better suited for you.
Let’s start!
Warrior – Brawny Melee Fighter With a Tank Alternative
No MMORPG would ever be complete without a cookie-cutter melee fighter that jumps into battle with a big sword and powerful, sweeping strikes. And in Honor of Heirs, the Warrior just happens to fit the bill. This class offers balanced stats for the most part, but leans more towards the defensive side, being able to inflict lots of damage, but also absorb a ton of punishment without faltering.
The Warrior can transition into the following:
- Berserker: An offensive variant that forsakes defenses and favors a more direct approach to combat, wielding their greatsword with ease and cutting through swathes of enemies with every swing.
- Paladin: Defensive variants that don their sword and shield and use a mix of offensive and protective tactics to tank even the deadliest enemies and keep their allies safe.
Their direct play style, even with the Paladin variant, makes the Warrior the best class for beginners in Honor of Heirs. If you’re just starting out, you really can’t go wrong with this one.
Ranger – Powerful Ranged and Melee DPS
In most games, the Ranger class is the sole master of dealing tons of damage from long distances. And while the same applies to the Ranger class in Honor of Heirs, they can also drop their bows and switch to their swift blades to engage enemies at melee range. This capacity to swap their approach makes Rangers into a versatile DPS that can adapt to most situations.
The Ranger can transition into the following specializations:
- Hunter: Slow but powerful attacks define the Hunters, as they are all about dispatching their enemies with a single shot. They also have decent AoE capabilities.
- Assassin: Swift fighters that wield dual daggers and use them to ambush enemies, offering unparalleled single-target damage, making them the de-facto boss slayers in this game.
Elementalist – Magical Destruction and Support Prowess
Last but not least, the Elementalist is the master of the arcane arts, being able to wield powerful spells to both eradicate the enemy as well as support their allies. The exact role of this class will vary greatly according to their specializations, though in their base form, they can fulfill the roles of both a support as well as a DPS, leaning more towards AoE capabilities when acting as the latter.
Elementalists can transition into the following:
- Sage: Adept tacticians capable of using runes to both cripple and debuff the enemy, as well as support and buff their allies. They are often the backbone of the party.
- Magician: Practitioners of the arcane arts who can inflict massive damage across wide areas with a variety of spells. These are essentially the “Pure DPS” versions of the Elementalist class.
