Icarus M: Guild War is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.

Icarus M: Guild War has a lot of different and unique playable classes to pick and choose from. These classes are the fundamental divide between players and act as a separate character on their own. In Soul Chronicle, there are 6 main classes to choose from:

  • Gladiator
  • Ranger
  • Assassin
  • Wizard
  • Artist
  • Priest

Players can choose any of the classes from the 6 listed above at the beginning of their account creation journey. It’s extremely important to choose the class that you know you will not get bored of, or one that suits your own playstyle due to the limitation of having only 1 class per account. Let’s take a brief look at all the classes and their playstyles so that players have a fair idea of what they are getting into.

Gladiator

The Gladiator is a melee warrior class in Icarus M: Guild War that makes use of their mighty sword and shields as offense and defensive weapons. Players can enjoy playing them without worrying about losing their life due to their high HP pools, and high Defensive stats. This class is highly recommended for beginners who have never played MMOs before, since their assumed difficulty level is quite low. As a Gladiator, players will be tasked with not only tanking and absorbing damage for their allies but also dealing a decent chunk of AOE damage if they are built with the right equipment.

Ranger

The Ranger class in Icarus M: Guild War is a ranged class that makes use of Short Bow and Magic Armor as offensive and defensive weapons, respectively. Players who are skilled in dealing damage from afar should definitely try the Ranger class. These characters are blessed with high attack speed and attack, attributed to their high-DPS output. Rangers are also quite vulnerable in team fights due to having low HP pools, and low Defensive stats in general. A good knowledge of the map and your opponents is required to survive the incoming assassination attempts.

Assassin

The Assassin class in Icarus M: Guild War is a melee class that makes use of Dagger as an offensive weapon. This class is perfectly suited to play the role of an assassin, hunting down vulnerable targets that do not have high defensive stats such as the Rangers or Wizards. Players who like to stay out of the limelight in team fights and have no issue stealthily creeping up on players can choose this class. Assassins have the highest single-target burst damage-dealing capabilities, placing them in the must-pick category for many top-tier rankings.

Wizard

The Wizard class in Icarus M: Guild War is a ranged class that makes use of Orb as an offensive weapon. Wizards are also one of the toughest classes to play and master. Hence, they are not recommended to new players unless they have experience with other similar MMORPGs. Players who like dealing tons of AOE-targeted damage from afar by channeling different types of skills will definitely like playing the Wizard class. They are said to have the highest AOE damage output out of every other class. Much like Rangers, the Wizard class is also quite vulnerable in team fights due to having low HP pools, and low Defensive stats.

Artist

The Artist class in Icarus M: Guild War is a melee class that makes use of Brush as an offensive weapon. The Artist class specializes in fulfilling the role of support in any team. They are one of the toughest classes to master but the easiest to pick up and start playing. Artists can also deal a decent ton of damage without taking much in return due to their unique abilities that can provide tons of Shield buffs to allies and themselves. Sadly, they are prone to dying easily against a stealthy enemy like Assassins.
