Whether you’re looking to dominate PvE (Seal Land, Aspen Dungeon, and Void Vortex) or succeed in PvP, this guide will help you maximize Eloise’s potential by covering her abilities, optimal gear, team compositions, and strategies.

Skills and Abilities

Eloise is an amazing PvE oriented hero that excels at dealing multiple DOT effects while also regenerating some of the damage dealt back as HP. Her scarred soul unique debuff allows her to be an efficient boss killer as she inflicts damage based on enemy MAX HP. Her passive simply provides her a host of amazing stat bonuses that not only amplify her damage but also gives her enough control immunity to resist incoming damage. Being a ranger, her survival stats aren’t that great but the passive definitely helps her survive even in late game dungeons. Paired up with a healer and support, she can even become the sole DPS for your team with her consistent DoT’s. Check out all of Eloise’s abilities:

Mist Dance (Active Skill) – Deals damage to 3 random enemies, reduces their attack by 15% for 2 rounds and inflicts Scarred soul for 2 rounds.

Scarred Soul – Damage over time. When inflicted and at the end of each round, scarred soul deals damage equal to 12% of the target’s MAX HP and restores eloise’s HP by 25% of the damage dealt.

Dancer on Blades (Passive Skill) – Attack + 20%, HP + 30%, Block + 60%, Control Immunity + 30%, and Speed + 40.

Captive Phantom (Passive Skill) – Whenever a hero is slain, all enemies lose 15% precision for 6 rounds and Eloise has a 100% chance to gain 1 stack of Phantom Shadow.

Phantom Shadow – Next time when a scarred soul is inflicted, 1 stack of Phantom Shadow will be consumed to increase the damage by 50%.

Game of Danger (Passive Skill) – Upon blocking an attack, deals damage to 3 random enemies and inflicts Scarred Soul for 2 rounds.

Eloise – Best Gear to Use

Since Eloise is a ranger, your best options for gearing will ultimately be tied to how much you want to invest on her. If you want her to be the main carry in your team, we would recommend opting for a full minstrel set of gear from the Class upgrade suits in the Gray Dwarves Workshop. Yes, this is a huge investment but the rewards are well worth it. Here’s the recommended gear for Eloise:

Best Enablers for Eloise

Since Eloise is not your usual DPS hero, the enablers used for her are going to be more reliant on damage reduction and survivability:

  • Mightiness – Increases attack by 8%.
  • Lethal Fightback – When the active skill or normal attack deals damage to enemies with higher current than self, deals extra damage by 12% of all damages dealt (exclude enduring damage)
  • Control Purify – When a round ends, 100% removes 1 random control effect from self.
  • Unbending Will – When taking fatal damages, immunes self from direct damage and DoT. (Immunes to damage at most 4 times. Does not immune to damage from marks.)

Best Monster for Eloise

The top monster choice to accompany Eloise are as follows:

  • Phoenix – Deals damage against 4 random enemies and burns them, dealing some extra damage per round for 3 rounds. Also restores HP to 4 random allies for 3 rounds, and increases 4 random allies 80% bonus damage against burning targets.
