Immortal Awakening Demon Hunter Class Guide - Everything You Need to Know About the Nimble Demon Hunter
When it comes to choosing your class in Immortal Awakening, many of you will probably gravitate towards the Demon Hunter, as she not only sounds cool, but her skills are also pretty strong. However, the Demon Hunter is also one of the most difficult classes to play in the game, compared to the other three. As such, we wanted to write this overview to give our readers an idea of what this class has to offer, as well as how to use it effectively.
Demon Hunter Starting Skills
The Demon Hunter is, by far, the strongest class in Immortal Awakening when it comes to sheer damage output against single targets. Their might and overwhelming damage makes them the best class for taking down bosses or other high value targets. Off course, this comes with an important tradeoff in that, while they are also fragile like the Mage class, Demon Hunters are a bit lackluster when it comes to AoE damage. As such, their use is a bit more niche in general content, and they only really stand out against bosses. However, if you’re going to be doing content that will put you against tougher enemies, then you really can’t go wrong with this class.
With that being said, the Demon Hunter excels at being able to move while pelting the enemy with an unrelenting onslaught of crossbow bolts. And while she lacks damage in most of her skills, she makes up for it in sheer attack speed, being able to inflict a lot of individual hits in a short period. As such, she’s an excellent class for PvP as well as for PvE encounters, though she has a much higher skill ceiling than the others.
The Demon Hunter starts with the following skills:
- Arrows of Vengeance: Inflicts three hits in a small area, dealing a total of 300% damage to all enemies.
- Spiraling Arrow: Attacks all enemies in a cone in front of the Demon Hunter, inflicting 6 hits that deal a total of 720% damage, which also root the enemies for 2 seconds.
- Evade: Dodges forward while increasing the Demon Hunter’s evasion for 5 seconds. This skill also boosts the Demon Hunter’s speed by 30% for the duration.
- Shadow Punishment: Deals 500% damage to nearby enemies and increases the Demon Hunter’s ATK by 20% for 15 seconds. This skill also buffs nearby allies’ ATK by 10% for the entire duration.
Demon Hunter Recommended Play Style
The Demon Hunter is a pretty difficult class to play, at least compared to the others. However, her general play style can be summed up as a class that always tries to pick off her enemies from a distance. As such, you’ll have to do your best to keep ample distance from your opponent at all times, since it’ll only take a few heavy hits to knock you out. Luckily, you have a lot of tools at your disposal that will help you to keep your enemies at arm’s length.
Other than that, the standard Demon Hunter gameplay boils down to saving up your cooldowns for when your ultimate’s ready for use, and then dumping all your skills into the enemy when your ATK boost from your ultimate is in effect.

The Demon Hunter has, by far, the highest skill ceiling out of all the classes in Immortal Awakening. This means that while she’s easy to pick up and play, she’s also significantly harder to master than the other classes, especially in PvP encounters. As such, we can recommend her only for experienced players that are looking for a challenge. However, once you get the hang of her skillset and movement style, you’ll become a one-person wrecking crew that will be able to easily burst down any enemies that stand in your way.
