Immortal Awakening Necromancer Class Guide - Everything You Need to Know About the Cunning Necromancer
Out of all the other classes in Immortal Awakening, the Necromancer is definitely the most unique since he’s the only one who can not only summon powerful minions to the field, but also directly restore his allies’ HP. However, this unique skill set also earns him a unique role within a group setting; one that can’t be fulfilled by anyone else.
In this guide, we’re going to explore everything you need to know about the Necromancer class in Immortal Awakening, so you can get an idea of what to expect when choosing it as your starter.
Necromancer Starting Skills
The Necromancer is one of the most unique classes in the game, as it’s the only one that can summon minions to do his bidding and to fight in his stead. This isn’t to say that the Necromancer doesn’t have any skills to protect himself, though, as he can also wield the powers of life and death to conjure up powerful spells and directly damage his enemies.
The Necromancer begins with the following skills in his kit:
- Soul of Bones: Inflict 300% damage to all enemies in a straight line.
- Frost Golem: Conjures an icy golem that deals 500% damage to enemies in an area upon landing. The golem then proceeds to attack enemies, with a chance on every attack to trigger a frost nova that deals 150% damage to all enemies in an area, which also reduces their speed by 30% for 3 seconds.
- Soul Walk: The Necromancer teleports forward a short distance, increasing his defense for 5 seconds, and also gaining an HP regen effect for the duration.
- Cycle of Life: Deals 300% damage to all nearby enemies and draws a glyph on the ground that heals HP to all allies inside equal to 1% of the Necromancer’s max HP per second for 5 seconds.
Necromancer Recommended Play Style
As you can tell from the skills available to the Necromancer, this class is not only unique due to the fact that he can summon a golem ally to fight in his stead, but he’s also the only one that can directly support his allies by restoring their HP. This ability makes him the only class that can act as a dedicated support first and foremost, while leaving most of the DPSing to the other members of the group. However, when it comes to solo questing, the Necromancer is more than capable of standing his own ground, especially since he’s very hard to defeat thanks to his golem and healing skills.
This combination of skills and traits makes the Necromancer into one of the easiest classes to play, but one that has an important responsibility to the entire group, since a well-placed healing glyph can make the difference between life and death.
Recommended For
The Necromancer is ideal for both casual and veteran players alike, especially for those who want to play a support role in group content. Regardless, we can safely recommend this class for anyone who doesn’t have a particular preference for any of the others, and can’t decide which one to start with.
