Infinite Magicraid Beginner’s Guide for Early Game Progression
Infinite Magicraid, is the newest turn-based RPG by the developers and makers of Idle Heroes – DHGames. Having prior experience with gacha games and turn-based titles, Infinite Magicraid is their newest project set to release globally in the month of September 2022. Infinite Magicraid has been thoroughly tested in multiple closed and open beta tests to make sure the game has enough content and stability when released globally to a massive audience. Open to pre-registration on their official website, Infinite Magicraid already boasts over 1 million pre-registrations across platforms. The game is going to be available as a free-to-play title on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store.
Infinite Magicraid’s storyline starts in the fictional world of Lowes Continent where we role-play a stranger who is supposed to lead a faction of the army. Being the chosen one feels is strong with this one, however, a little context is given as to who we are and why we need to help the struggling kingdoms. The entire Lewis continent is invaded by the demon god Lihem whose evil forces are wreaking havoc on the divided kingdom and factions of Lowes continent. We must unite the kingdoms by going to each of them and form a massive army combining all of the Lowes continent factions. On the journey, players will be met with multiple waves of evil enemies and possessed guardians who will be sent by Lihem himself to stop us in our tracks. Infinite Magicraid is a storyless game with not much emphasis being provided on the story but more on the combat aspects of the game. The game features a rich turn-based combat system that aims to test the player’s tact and knowledge about heroes in order to emerge victorious in battles.
In this beginner’s guide for Infinite Magicraid, we will be trying our best to explain all the basics of the game that are required to understand in order to make efficient and fast progression. As usual with these beginner’s guides, we will be assuming the readers are new players of the game or the genre itself. Here are the topics that we will be covering in-depth in this beginner’s guide:

Understanding the Summoning System
Infinite Magicraid is a gacha game that makes use of the innate gachapon mechanics to provide players with an opportunity to collect and use new heroes. It also serves its purpose as a hero collector title with over 200 different and unique heroes available to be collected. The system is termed as “Wish” in the official in-game terminology. Players can see the Wish system in the main menu at the center of the main UI. It is denoted by a big tower in the middle of the city. Just like any other gacha game, Infinite Magicraid also makes use of different summoning banners to provide players with a clear-cut explanation of what heroes are obtainable through which banners. The game also uses different summoning currencies in order to summon on the different banners but we will talk more about them later in this section. Currently, the main banners that a new player will see are as follows:
- Refined Wish – This type of wish banner is used for summoning heroes of the rarities Common, Rare, Elite, and Epic. This is the first wish banner that unlocks for all players after the tutorial is completed. Players can get abundant currencies to summon on this banner but it’s generally used for summoning low-quality heroes in order to make their food for your better-quality heroes.
- Excellent Wish – This type of wish banner is used for summoning heroes of the rarities – Elite, Epic, and Legend. Players can also get their hands on the featured legendary or Epic heroes when an event is active.
- Supreme Wish – This type of wish banner is used for summoning heroes of the rarities – Epic and Legend. Players can also get their hands on the featured legendary or Epic heroes when an event is active.
- Miracle Wish – This type of wish banner is used for summoning heroes of the rarities – Elite, Epic, and Legend. Players can only access the Miracle Wish banners when an event is active for the same.
We recommend players to test out their luck instantly in the Excellent wish banner for which you can get the summoning currencies through pre-registration rewards as well as through completing the early game main story campaign mode stages. Infinite Magicraid has different probabilities and rates of obtaining the different rarities of heroes in the wish system. In the wish system, the highest rarity of heroes has the lowest probability of being summoned while the lowest rarity of heroes has the highest probability of being summoned.
The rate of summoning all different rarities of heroes is as follows:
- Elite Heroes – 88% Probability of being summoned
- Epic Heroes– 11.5% Probability of being summoned
- Legend Heroes – 0.5% Probability of being summoned
As we told before, players require different summoning currencies in order to make summons on the different wish banners. The different currencies which are used during summons in the Wish system are:
- Refined Rune Shard – Refined Rune Shard is the currency that is used for summoning on the refined wish banner. Players require 5 Refined Rune Shards for a single summon or 50 Refined Rune Shards for 10 summons.
- Excellent Rune – Excellent Rune is the currency that is used for summoning the excellent wish banner. Players require 1 Excellent Rune for a single summon or 10 Excellent Runes for 10 summons.
- Supreme Rune – Supreme Rune is the currency that is used for summoning on the supreme wish banner. Players require 1 Supreme Rune for a single summon or 10 Supreme Runes for 10 summons.
- Miracle Rune – Miracle Rune is the currency that is used for summoning the miracle wish banner. Players require 1 Miracle Rune for a single summon or 10 Miracle Runes for 10 summons.
Understanding The Currencies
The biggest challenge for many new players that are going to be starting their journey in Infinite Magicraid is the innumerable amount of currencies thrown at them. Each of these currencies plays an important part in laying your pace of progression as well as the amount of strength you can increase for your account. Understanding the importance and usage of these different currencies is crucial for new players. These currencies can be seen in the middle of the main menu and are as follows:
- Stamina
- Diamond
- Coins
Stamina is like the energy system present in games of similar nature and category. Stamina is highly required, especially in the early game to continuously progress through the main story stages in the campaign mode. Overall, stamina is used majorly to play almost 80% content present in the game. Players can get tons of Stamina at the beginning of the game through quests, new player missions, and pre-registration rewards. The stamina costs are also quite low at the start of the game. Players will gradually increase their max stamina capacity as their player level increases. Stamina is also recharged passively as an AFK resource. It can also be bought using your Diamonds at the rate of 200 Stamina for 40 Diamonds.
Diamond is the premium currency of Infinite Magicraid and they are primarily used for summoning heroes in the Wish system. Players do not directly use their diamonds to summon but are used for buying the different types of runes through the in-game marketplace. Diamonds are quite scarce throughout your journey but are abundantly available at the beginning of the game from main story stages, campaign clear rewards, gallery, quests, new player missions, and pre-registration rewards. Players can also use their Diamonds to purchase Stamina, Coins, Skill scrolls, etc. Diamonds can also be purchased through microtransactions using real-life money.
Coins are one of the most abundantly available currencies in Infinite Magicraid. It is rightfully so since its use in different processes in the game is also quite abundant. Coins can be compared to the likes of Gold in other games. Coins are required in all the process related to increasing the strength of your heroes or enhancing your collected artifacts.
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Infinite Magicraid
Infinite Magicraid is a combat-driven game and we already mentioned how the developers take pride in the intricate strategic battles that take place in the game. For casual lovers, Infinite Magicraid can be a hard game to love since it lacks many quality of life features while focusing a lot more on the grindy aspect. A wide variety of heroes, each with their unique set of skills and abilities are also to be taken into account to fully master the combat mechanics of the game. Players can refer to a tier list for Infinite Magicraid to get a better understanding of the best heroes in the game.
Players are given a brief idea of how the combat plays out. The entire battle is run down in a turn-based order where each hero takes their own turn according to their speed. The faster heroes will take turns before the slower heroes. Before the battle event starts, players can create a formation of 5 different heroes to take into battle. For beginners, we would recommend choosing your top 5 strongest heroes that have the highest combat power (CP).
Each turn, your hero needs to select their skills and choose the targeted enemy/ally depending on the skill. Another thing to keep in mind is the element system present in Infinite Magicraid where each hero is assigned a mark. Marks interact in a fire beat water beats grass way where each of them is stronger and weaker to another.
Increase Your Heroes Strength in Infinite Magicraid
Making your heroes stronger should be the number 1 priority for any beginner starting out in Infinite Magicraid. Many players might think that to do so players require the best of the best heroes from the wish system, like legendary or mythic grade. However, even the lower rarity and quality of heroes can perform at the highest level if they are enhanced properly. To enhance your heroes, the process is quite simple. Go to the Heroes tab located at the bottom right-hand side of the main menu where you will see all your owned heroes.
In this section, players will find different ways to power up their hero. Here is a brief explanation of all the systems present in Infinite Magicraid to empower your heroes:
- Leveling Up
- Awakening
- Skill Upgrade
- Emblem
- Equipment
- Aura
- Exclusive Equipment
Leveling Up is one of the best ways to increase the strength of your heroes as leveling up directly increases the base stats of the heroes. The base stats are as follows – HP, Attack, and Defense. In some cases, this base stat can also increase Critical Hit Rate and Critical Hit Damage. Players can level up their heroes by giving them battle experience. This battle experience can be gathered by going into the battles with the heroes and winning them or simply by feeding them EXP Potions. EXP Potions also come in a variety offering different amounts of experience. Keep in mind that every hero can only be leveled up to a certain extent where the extent is based on its current awakening level.
Awakening is the process by which players can increase the rarity of their heroes. The base rarity of the heroes is not to be confused with the current rarity as every hero can be awakened by up to 6 purple stars. However, the base rarity differs based on the quality of the hero. To awaken any hero, the hero must be at its highest level for the current grade. Further, players require food of a similar star level to awaken the hero to its next star level. As imagined, this process is quite grindy and will consume a majority of your time. It’s very important to awaken your heroes as it not only increases their base stats but also increases their level cap.
The skills of all heroes can be upgraded as well to provide some better damage numbers or utility effects. Skills are upgraded using Skill scrolls. Skill scrolls come in different rarities just like the heroes.
The emblem in Infinite Magicraid is the core masteries that can significantly enhance your heroes’ stats while also providing them with some bonus effects. Players can unlock these emblems by farming the Emblem chapters from the dungeons. Some emblems have to unlock conditions, especially at the higher levels that demand the hero to be awakened up to a certain point in order for the emblem slot to be unlocked. Players can purchase the emblem chapters directly using their Diamonds as well if they wish to do so.
Equipment is those pieces that provide some additional stats to our heroes. These stats are not to be confused with base stats that are present with the hero every time. Equipment comes in different rarities and can be upgraded to give bonus stats. Coins are required to upgrade your equipment. The equipment gives 2 types of stats – main stats and substations.
Aura is like additional equipment that also provides bonus stats. Auras can only be crafted and not farmed, unlike equipment. Aura’s also come in different rarities like Legend, Epic, and Elite. The higher the rarity, the higher the amount of stats they provide.
Exclusive Equipment is equipment that is exclusive to each hero. Not all heroes in the game are eligible for exclusive types of equipment. This equipment empowers the abilities of the heroes as well as provides bonus stats.
