Understanding the Gameplay Mechanics of Left to Survive: Zombie Games

In Left to Survive: Zombie Games, the core gameplay resembles that of a third person shooter combined with tactical base-building mechanics. Players are required to progress through the campaign/adventure mode of the game that boasts multiple chapters, each comprising different stages. The difficulty of stages rises as you progress further. The game does a great job of teaching you the basic mechanics of shooting, aiming, reloading, equipping items, and camera movement. To generalize, the buttons for all the actions are present on screen, and you only need to press them to complete their action. 

On the bottom left-hand side, you can see the gun that you have equipped to your current loadout. Simply press on it to shoot. Players can additionally see details such as max capacity, current bullet count, and reload it if necessary. On the right-hand side, you should be able to see all your healing kits, grenades, and shock grenades. Healing kits can help you regenerate lost HP instantly. Grenades take some time to explode but players can strategically choose an area where multiple zombies are crowding to eliminate all at once. 

Since you cannot move in missions, the gameplay is much more tactical in Left to Survive: Zombie Games. You need to make clever usage of environmental factors to fasten mission progress. For example, in some levels, there will be lots of enemies grouping near a fire cylinder. Simply shoot the cylinder down to cause a massive explosion and destroy all enemies in 1-go. Such smart and tactical decisions are common in the higher stages of the game.

Campaign Mode

The campaign mode in Left to Survive: Zombie Games is a thrilling story mode that encompasses the entire narrative of the game in multiple regions. At the time of writing, there are a total of 6 distinct regions in the game. They are initially locked but as you clear the earlier regions, new one’s gradually unlock. The difficulty of the stages in each region increases in ascending order. Players will also get introduced with different types of zombie enemies as they progress to higher stages in different regions. It’s important to familiarize yourself with the different playing environments if you want to complete all the objectives of each campaign stage. 

You can setup a custom loadout, featuring your guns, characters, and more. On winning each campaign stage, you will get access to amazing rewards such as cash, xp points, and food. The former is used to purchase new guns from the store. XP points are used to level up your account and gain even more power. Lastly, food is the main currency used to play the campaign mode and other game modes, making it important.

Guns

There are multiple different types of guns that players can collect and use in Left to Survive: Zombie Games. Guns act as your primary weapon, and each player can equip 2 different gun loadouts at the same time. The 1st loadout can feature an automatic gun, and the 2nd loadout can feature a shotgun/launcher. Players can further upgrade their loadouts to increase the gun’s fire rate, reloading speed, holding capacity, ammunition, and damage. The higher these stats, the easier it gets to eliminate enemies. 

Characters

The characters you recruit and train will be the backbone of your army. Each survivor has unique abilities, strengths, and weaknesses, which you can improve by leveling up, equipping them with better gear, and training them. Having a strong set of characters (Tier List) is crucial for success in later stages of the campaign mode.

Recruit New Characters: Characters can be recruited through the Barracks by spending resources. Some survivors are more powerful than others, so keep an eye out for higher-tier heroes.

Leveling Up Characters: As you progress, you can level up your characters to increase their stats, such as health, damage, and speed. These upgrades will be crucial for tougher combat encounters.

Gear and Weapons: Equip your characters with weapons and armor to make them more effective in battle. Guns, armor, and grenades are essential to success, and they can be upgraded at the Workshop.
