This is a full-fledged story-line game mode that is divided into multiple chapters, and each chapter further branches out into multiple sub-stages. 

The combat mechanics of Legacy Fate: Sacred&Fearless are like any other Idle/AFK game on the market. Players have limited control over their heroes and they can only control the formation of line-ups. In the actual battles, you cannot manually do anything. Everything is automated, from your hero attacks, to their abilities. Each hero is given a base rarity, starting with 1-Star as the lowest and going up to 5-Star as the highest. 

The gacha system takes into account all heroes available in the game, with some exceptions. The higher rarity heroes have the lowest chance of being summoned while the lowest rarity heroes have the highest chance of being summoned. • Normal Summons – In this banner, you can summon any 1-5 star hero using a currency called Normal Summon Order. On a daily basis, you will get 3 free summons to do on this banner. A 10 pull will cost you 10 Normal Summon Orders. 
• Friendship Summons – In this banner, you can summon any 1-5 star hero using a currency called Friendship Points. A 10 pull will cost you 1000 Friendship Points.
• Special Summons – In this banner, you can summon any 3-5 star hero using a currency called Advanced Summon Order. A 10 pull will cost you 10 Advanced Summon Orders. You can also purchase Advanced summon orders using your owned Sycee.
