Legend of Mushroom – Guide for the Mage Class
Legend of Mushroom serves as one of the few mushroom-stylized role-playing games on mobile. Players can choose a class of their own among many options to start their adventures. Among the many classes, the Mage class is highly sought after and touted as one of the best options.
With the help of this guide, you will be able to decipher what weapons and gears to use for your Mage character. You will also learn about the detailed abilities the class harbors and the advantages it brings to the battlefield. Let’s begin!
Levelling Options for Mages
Gaining experience points in Legend of Mushroom is necessary to progress to new levels. At levels 15, 30, 50, 70, and 100, you can select the character class you want to use next. You can select the Mage class when your adventurer level reaches 30. You can select from the following classes in the subsequent levels:
Level 50: Spellcaster or Healer
Level 70: Chronomancer or Storm Priest
Level 100: Bishop or Holy Guide
Although the mage’s two routes concentrate on distinct subjects, they are both equally potent in their own right. Thus, you are free to select what best fits you. Support is the main focus of the Healer’s tree. Conversely, spellcaster is more aggressive and provides area attacks.
Mage Class
Mages are one of the only classes to possess both long-range attacking capabilities on top of crowd-control abilities. They can also shift their focus into acting like healers, depending on the Job you take. Much like other classes, Mages are further divided into different categories at different levels like we mentioned before.
At Level 50, Mages can be divided into:
- Healer – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
- Spellcaster – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
At Level 70, Mages can be divided into:
- Chronomancer – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
- Storm Priest – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
At Level 100, Mages can be divided into:
- Holy Guide – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
- Bishop – Summon meteorites, dealing AOE damage and extending the duration of basic attacks stuns on targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 5 seconds.
At Awakening, Mages can be divided into:
- Prophet – Deal AOE damage, and increase stun duration received by targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 8 seconds. Break enemy shields instantly with attacks for 10 seconds.
- Darklord – Deal AOE damage, and increase stun duration received by targets within the range by 30%, lasting for 8 seconds. Additionally, boost skill crit damage by 50% for 10 seconds.
Best Perks for the Mage Class
In this section, we will learn more about the different perks that you get to choose from as a Mage. Keep in mind, the perks we have selected are some out of many, and you can customize them depending on your playstyle. We have focused more on a balanced playstyle, where you can complement your healing abilities with some damage-dealing skills as well. Check out the Perks used in our Mage build:
- With Nature’s Renewal, you can extend the effect of this talent by utilizing an Energy Statue Relic. This skill causes enormous damage to the target while also restoring 30% of your opponents’ HP.
- Shroom Shield that grants a shield equivalent to 30% of maximum HP while simultaneously dealing damage to the opponent.
- Meteor Falls has one of the highest damage multipliers for any ability.
- Wild Gust is an AOE-damage dealing ability that boosts ATK for five seconds.
- Another AoE skill that can harm opponents and boost their damage is Smoke Bomb (you can extend the effect of this skill by utilizing Time Statue Relic).
Best Pals for Mage Class
Much like you equip gear to your character, you are also able to choose cute little creatures that will accompany you in battles. These are called “Pals”. For mages, we would highly recommend choosing Pals that can increase your overall damage output. You certainly don’t need any healer type Pals since Mages are well-equipped to sustain themselves through their abilities. Additionally, you can use some Pals that are able to increase your overall HP amount or provide buffs like Shields for extra survival. Here are the Pal recommendations:
- Piercer Beast
- Cat Prince
- Hydro Sprite
- Kongfu Master
Playing Legend of Mushroom on a bigger screen without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay is highly recommended.
