The game is an artistic masterpiece by Joy Nice Games who have meticulously worked upon bringing this iconic world of mushrooms to life! If you’re a new player, then you’re at the right place! We will cover all the basic game mechanics, combat mechanics, as well as cover all you need to know about the gacha mechanics. Let’s start!
Understanding the Combat Mechanics of Legend of Mushroom
The core gameplay aspect of Legend of Mushroom remains to be that of an Idle game. Players cannot do much manually in combat as your character moves on their own on top of casting the abilities. The game supports full auto combat with the usage of abilities as well. You can influence how much the character consumes potions to recover health, as well as manipulate the type of gear they have. Gearing remains to be the core aspect of human interaction with the game.
Rub the genie lamp to summon different types of gear sets for different areas of the body. Equip them to get additional stats. Depending on the rarity of the gear, they can also provide some additional passive effects for your mushroom.
Keep in mind to sell off the old gear when you replace it with a new piece. This will fetch you more gold on top of keeping your inventory space in check. Players can adventure through the campaign mode which is split into multiple chapters. Each chapter further has multiple stages that you need to go through individually. At the end of the chapter, there lies a Boss monster. This Boss will be tougher than the previous mobs of enemies that spawn from time to time. Players can strategize efficiently for the Boss by equipping strong gear, acquiring new skills, and evolving your character.
Legend of Mushroom: All About the Class System
The Class system is a unique addition to the ever-growing craze of Idle games. It is the first time that a system often associated with MMO games is being introduced in an Idle game. Through this system, players can customize the play style of their mushroom into different types. There are 3 main classes you can advance to:
- Warrior
- Archer
- Mage
Each of the class is designated with a separate playstyle. For example, warriors are best known for their strength and melee-ranged combat practices. They exude high confidence and do not shy away from battles. Archers, on the other hand, are more agile and are gifted with the ability to shoot multiple arrows towards their targets. They stay away from melee-range and try to take down enemies from afar. Mages are also like Archers but they exude more crowd-control related abilities. Mages are also adept at dealing huge amounts of AOE-targeted damage, thanks to their powerful DPS capabilities.
Each class can further differentiate into multiple specializations, each giving away rise to multiple new active and passive abilities. Players can choose which abilities to equip and enhance. Of course, this is also a game of luck with the gacha system being set in place. Let’s see what it has to offer!
The Gacha System of Legend of Mushroom
The gacha system of Legend of Mushroom is limited to drawing new pals and skills. Pals are cute chibi friends that will accompany you in battles, providing more DPS and buffs. Some Pals can even heal you, so strategize effectively. Skills, as we know, are the bread and butter for your character. Customize your character efficiently by deploying the correct skills which match their class as well.
Head over to the Shop and go to the Gacha screen. You will see the option to either draw out skills or draw out Pals. Choose your poison and start summoning! Note that you will need Pal recruitment tickets to recruit Pals, and Skill recruitment tickets to summon skills. Players have the option to recruit either 15x or 35x in the gacha system, for both Pals and skills. Additionally, there is an option to recruit either 15x Pals or 15x Skills for free per day by watching advertisements.
Playing Legend of Mushroom on a bigger screen of your PC with BlueStacks without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay is highly recommended.
