In this tier list for Limbus Company, we will be ranking the best identities at the time of global launch while taking several factors into consideration. When taking into account the best identities, we must first address that all of them are ranked according to their skills and usage in different types of content. The base rarity and availability of the character will also play an important role in determining their ranking on the tier list. Limbus Company is still a freshly released game and players have not much knowledge regarding the actual meta. This tier list is just to be used as a reference point of view for new players as not all players have access to the same characters. Secondly, no such separate database is present in-game where we can take a look at all the identities along with their skills. Hence, we are going to be referencing the in-game dispense identities while building this tier list. All players have different identities and different E.G.O’s as they play the game. Players should take inspiration from this tier list while building their teams. 

S Tier Identities

Kurokuma Wakashu is a 2-Star identity for the character Hong Lu. His 1st active ability Cleave is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 32 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 2 stack of Bleed. Kurokuma Wakushu’s 2nd active ability Cloud Cutter is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 32 damage to the enemy. He will flip her Coin 2 times if the target has less than 4 stacks of Bleed before attacking. His 3rd active ability Cloudburst is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 32 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 1 stack of Bleed and Paralysis each at the start of combat. 

KUROKUMO WAKASHU RYOSHU

Kurokumo Wakashu is a 3-Star identity for the character Ryoshu. Her character description reads as following – “As they say, every person has their own creed—and it’s only right to respect it as the Executive Manager. But with some creeds, you will have difficulty in even simply pretending to sympathize. You will have noticed that the sinner in question is a silent chain-smoker whose eyes shine with a euphoric gleam only during battle. Kurokumo Wakashu’s 2nd active ability Clean Up is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 38 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 2 stacks of Bleed. She also inflicts 2 turn Attack down. TINGTANG GANGLEADER HONG LU

Tingtang Gangleader is a 3-Star Identity for the character Hong Lu. His character description reads as following – “A sinner who had lived an affluent life before becoming our company’s asset. As such, he has a certain admiration for a free life; but occasionally, he may make ignorant and unsavory questions in regards to the food cooked by a certain other sinner or other aspects of the low-lives’ lowly culture. This can cause much irritation for the other sinners. However, it is important to note that no sarcastic undertones are contained in his curiosity-driven inquiries, so it is ill-advised to let them get physical over it.” 

His 1st active ability Throat Slit is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 38 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 4 stacks of Bleed. Tingtang Gangleader’s 2nd active ability Shank is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 38 damage to the enemy along with inflicting an additional 6 damage if the coin flips Heads. His 3rd active ability Mutilate is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 38 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 3 more damage if the coin flips Head. He will re-use this skill if an enemy dies with the first use.

G CORP. CORPORAL MANAGER GREGOR

G Corp. Corporal Manager Gregor is a 3-Star identity for the character Gregor. His character description reads as follows – “This sinner is relatively easy to handle in terms of personality. However, an upsurge of emotion or a sudden change of environment may cause parts or the whole of his body to transform into insectile (notably akin to a carapace, resembling that of the ______) tissues. If you do not wish to be a rude manager (not that you’re obligated to be nice), we recommend keeping your facial expression in check so that your disgust is not visible to him. He sometimes uses cynical language, but he can still be reasoned with, and you can get around him without much difficulty as long as you learn the knack of it.” 

His 1st active ability Hack is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 41 damage to the enemy along with healing 50% of the damage dealt by this skill. Corporal Manager Gregor’s 2nd active ability Disember is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 41 damage to the enemy along with inflicting an additional 5 sacks of Rupture. He also heals by 50% of the damage dealt by this skill. His 3rd active ability Eviscerate is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 41 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 30% bonus damage if the target is Ruptured. If the coin tosses Head, he will also heal by 100% of the damage dealt.

KUROKUMO HENCHWOMAN RODION

Kurokumo Henchwoman is a 3-Star identity for the character Rodion. Her character description reads as follows – “The unfortunate traits of being Backstreets-born are apparent in this sinner. She loves money, gambling, and betting—so it is advised to pay close attention to her as the manager. She tends to deflect orders with an unimpressive wink or a silly joke; we recommend taking a stern stance at times to remind her that you are her superior. Her mood may be down at irregular intervals. There is nothing you can do to aid her in that state, so we recommend waiting for it to pass.” 

Her 1st active ability Sharpened Blade is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 35 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 4 stack of Poise. Kurokumo Henchwoman’s 2nd active ability Scattering Slash is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 35 damage to the enemy along with gaining 1 Poise count. Her 3rd active ability Sky-clearing Cut is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 35 damage to the enemy. If the target has more than 6 stacks of Bleed, the critical hit chance is doubled.

Liu Section 6 is a 2-Star Identity for the character Meursault. His character description reads as follows – “Meursault wants clear and concise commands, requiring no judgement on his part.” His 1st active ability Assault is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 1 stacks of Burn. Liu Section 6’s 2nd active ability Stalwart Stance is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with inflicting an additional 2 stacks of Burn. If the target already has 6 stacks of Burn, inflict 2 stacks of Burn to 2 random enemies. His 3rd active ability Perfected Death Fist is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with inflicting 3 more stacks of Burn if the coin flips Head.

W CORP CLEANUP AGENT DON QUIXOTE

W Corp. Cleanup Agent is a 3-Star identity for the character Don Quixote. His character description reads as follows – “There is no sinner that can outmatch this one’s level of passion. An avid aficionada of all things Fixer, she adorns herself with a variety of Fixer-related merchandise. They won’t affect her performance in combat one way or another, so there is no need for you to restrict her from keeping her decorations. She is deeply immersed in the role of a righteous Fixer, hence the exaggerated mannerisms akin to those of an actor. (Has such a thing ever existed, really?) It’s advised to play along with her for a smooth mission.” 

Cleanup Agent’s 1st active skill RIP is a single targeted damaging attack that deals 1 Stack of rupture on the target while also gaining 2 charge count. His 2nd active skill Leap inflicts 2 stacks of Fragile and gains 4 charge counts. Cleanup Agent’s 3rd active skill RIP Space states that he will spend 10 stacks of charge count to gain 4 skill power stacks. If your Charge Count is less than 10, you will lose 20% HP as well to get the same 4 stacks of skill power.

G. CORP HEAD MANAGER OUTIS

Corp Head Manager is a 2-Star Identity for the character Outis. His character description states the following – “This sinner could serve as an excellent advisor depending on your capability. LCCB Assistant Manager is a 2-Star Identity for the character Ishmael. Her character description reads as follows – “You may be disheartened by the defective state of many of your sinners, but do not worry; this sinner is one of the few who can carry out most missions without much complaint. She is likely to make reasonable judgements, so it is a good idea to start conversations while looking her way if you’re seeking sound advice. However, you mustn’t forget: this sinner has survived an absurd voyage in a far and wide body of water. Jefe De Los Mariachis’s 2nd active ability Danza De Pasion is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 27 damage to the enemy along with gaining 2 stacks of Poise. He also gains 1 Poise count if the coin flips Heads. His 3rd active ability Panata Party is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 27 damage to the enemy. BLADE LINEAGE CUTTHROAT SINCLAIR

Blade Lineage Cutthroat is a 2-Star Identity for the character Emil Sinclair. His character description states the following – “Even with the volatile nature of human growth around his age taken into consideration, this sinner seems to get particularly startled or frown when spoken to. He isn’t used to real combat at the moment, meaning that he may struggle to keep himself together at the sight of something as mild as spilt innards at first. As there may be those with violent tendencies among your crew, we recommend taking an approach focused on positive reinforcement with this sinner. He appears to possess a murderous gaze that he himself isn’t aware of; this is a hopeful sign that he has the potential to grow into an expert of our company’s profession with the right stimuli.” 

His 1st active ability Draw of the Sword is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with gaining 4 stacks of Poise if the coin flips as Head. Blade Lineage Cutthroat’s 2nd active ability Acupuncture is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with gaining 1 stack of Poise. His 3rd active ability Decisive Dive is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy. The final damage dealt by this skill will be increased if target’s HP is below 25%.

SHI SECTION 5 HEATHCLIFF

Shi Section 5 is a 2-Star Identity for the character Heathcliff. His character description reads as follows – “This sinner prefers to take action rather than wait for logic to dictate his course. His thoughts and feelings are blatantly visible in his demeanor, and he has no intention of hiding them; his brashness may cause headaches (or physical injury leading to a headache) in the process of forming a relationship. Please do note that this is not an indication of serious damage to the sinner’s thought process. If his fit of rage persists, please contact the human resources department. Once you realize that he is the type that tends to be simple-minded, you’ll have an easier time handling him.” 

His 1st active ability Extreme Edge is a single targeted damaging skill that deals 34 damage to the enemy along with gaining 2 Skill Power when HP above 25%.
