With that intro out of the way, let’s get started with the discussion!
MARVEL SNAP Meta Deck #1 – Sera Miracle
The #1 top deck originally featured in our previous tier list makes a return here, just because it’s still the undisputed meta deck in MARVEL SNAP to this day. That’s not to say that this is the only deck worth playing however; it’s just that its offering is quite strong compared to other setups.
This deck plays off the Sera card, which when deployed on the field, reduces the energy cost of deploying any other cards by 1. Additionally, it features interactions between other cards to boost your power as you deploy them on the board, such as Ant-Man’s power boost when 3 other cards are placed at his location; Angela’s power boost when you play another card at her location; Mojo’s massive power boost whenever both players have at least four cards at his location, and many more.
Card List
- Sera
- Ant-Man
- Angela
- Colleen Wing
- Mojo
- Mysterio
- Scarlet Witch
- Star Lord
- Bishop
- Maximus
- Dracula
- America Chavez
MARVEL SNAP Meta Deck #2 – Kazoo Disrupt
Offensively speaking, this deck revolves around two main cards, Kazar, and Blue Marvel, both of which can boost the power of other cards played on the field. Kazar, in particular, is a crucial part of this build since the deck features lots of 1-cost cards, and Kazar boosts the power of said 1-cost cards by 1 whenever he’s on the board.
While lacking in sheer might, this deck wins matches by disrupting the opponent’s plays, by using cards such as Iceman, who can bump up the cost of a random enemy card by 1, or Korg, who can shuffle a useless rock into the opponent’s deck, among others. Moreover, this deck relies on multiple low-cost units in order to dominate a location using Mojo’s power boost, and then finishing the enemy by taking another location using Onslaught’s powerful ongoing effect that can double the power of any other ongoing effects at his location.
Card List
- Kazar
- Ant-Man
- Iceman
- Iron Fist
- Korg
- Nightcrawler
- Angela
- Mojo
- Debrii
- Mister Fantastic
- Blue Marvel
- Onslaught
MARVEL SNAP Meta Deck #3 – Negative Serotonin
A rather quirky deck that can be quite difficult to use if you don’t grasp its core principle, which revolves around Mister Negative’s “On Reveal” effect that, when activated, swaps the power and energy costs of all the cards in your deck, This tactic goes hand-in-hand with the fact that the deck has quite a few high cost cards that have powerful ongoing effects, but low power on their own, therefore giving you a massive boost when Mister Negative is revealed.
Card List
- Mister Negative
- Angela
- Mojo
- Bishop
- Mister Fantastic
- Mystique
- Rogue
- Wolfsbane
- Blue Marvel
- Iron Man
- Magik
- Sera
MARVEL SNAP Meta Deck #4 – Lane Control
A deck that includes some of the most useful “on location” effects in the game to both disrupt the enemy, as well as give the player significant buffs at specific locations. This deck relies on interactions such as Storm’s “On Reveal” effect, which can effectively shut down a location and permanently prevent anyone from placing cards there for the remainder of the match, or Ebony Maw’s overwhelming power that can easily dominate entire locations on its own. And to add the finishing touches, the Daredevil card lets you effectively adapt and adjust your strategy by allowing you to preemptively see the moves that the enemy will perform on turn 5.
Card List
- Ant-Man
- Ebony Maw
- Nightcrawler
- Daredevil
- Mojo
- Mysterio
- Debrii
- Storm
- Jessica Jones
- Spider-Man
- Blue Marvel
- Doctor Doom
MARVEL SNAP Meta Deck #5 – Invisible Dracula
Last but not least, we’re closing this list with another deck that, while arguably not as powerful as the others, can still catch many opponents unaware. Specifically, this one uses Dracula’s effect which, at the end of the match, lets him discard one card from your hand and makes his own power equal to that of the card you discarded. As such, this strategy revolves around saving up energy that you would otherwise spend on turn 6 to deploy your mightiest cards, to set up more complex plays, while letting Dracula act as your main heavy hitter at the end of the match.
Card List
- Dracula
- Blade
- Angela
- Colleen Wing
- Invisible Woman
- Morbius
- Lady Sif
- Moon Knight
- Sword Master
- Hell Cow
- Wong
- Apocalypse
