Tip #1. Collect more Energy for Upgrades!
If you’re a new player joining the fight against these menacing mutated zombies, there’s one thing you should be aware of – Energy. These are the green-colored cubes that you get whenever a zombie dies. You need energy to upgrade your mechas in-game, and arm them with powerful abilities and damage upgrades. You can reach a maximum of level 20 in the game, and for each level upgrade, the amount of energy required gets increased. Hence, you will level up faster in the early game but slowly as you reach the end of the stage. Hence, maximizing energy gain is the best way to beat any stage.
Tip #2. Be Mindful about the Different Upgrades
Like we mentioned in the previous tip, players can unlock several upgrades whenever their mecha levels up in-game. You are given a choice of 3 upgrades each time you level up. But, you can only pick one upgrade that suits your playstyle the best. The choice is usually between either upgrading your weapon, mecha, or grant a new ability/projectile. Your chosen upgrades can be seen on the top right-hand side. In the early stages, we would suggest putting more emphasis on fire rate and projectile upgrades. Focus on the damage upgrades after Level 5 when you have a stable foundation for your mecha.
Tip #3. Level Up your Mecha and Parts
Much like you can upgrade your mecha in-game, you can also get them outside of the game in a more permanent manner. There are multiple strong mechas in the game, and you can upgrade each of them. You just need tons of Gold to do so. After reaching a certain level, you will need to rank up these mechas to increase their level cap. The gold cost of upgrading levels increases as you level them up more. This process improves their base stats in the form of Attack, HP, and Defense.
Your quest to get more firepower doesn’t end on mechas as there are multiple parts that can be upgraded as well. Parts come in 2 types – Weapons and Accessories. Each of these parts comes in differing rarities and can be acquired from the in-game draw system. Players can enhance these parts using Gold and Blue Cores to get better damage numbers and unlock new abilities.
Tip #4. Progress in the Main Story Chapters for Extra Resources
One of the best tips that we can impart to any new player would be to mindlessly climb as far as you can in the main story chapters. These chapters are divided into multiple stages, with the last stage culminating in a huge boss fight. Not only do these stages grant you tons of experience for both the account and the battle pass but they also improve the quality of rewards obtained via the “Auto-Play” feature.
Tip #5. Complete the Tasks
There are a host of daily and weekly tasks for you to complete on a regular basis. These tasks refresh every day and every week. Many of them are quite mundane and can be completed in 5-10 minutes each day. Completing these tasks will fetch you generous rewards such as diamonds, part chest keys, and awakening shards for a mecha of your choice.
Players can enjoy playing Mech Assemble: Zombie Swarm on a bigger screen of their PC or Laptop via BlueStacks along with your keyboard and mouse.
