How to Build the Best Gym in MMA Manager 2 Ultimate Fight
The gym can be considered as your headquarters when you play MMA Manager 2: Ultimate Fight. This is where your fighters reside and train consistently to prepare for any upcoming fights or professional tournaments. Turning your gym into a factory of world-class MMA fighters is going to take time and money. In this article, we’ll guide you through every step of the way to learn how to build the most optimal MMA gym.
Gym Stats
Your gym has several important stats. These stats are improved when you purchase bigger and higher-tier gym facilities.
-
- Roster Size – the maximum number of fighters that the gym can house
- Cash Stash – the maximum amount of cash that can be generated from the gym’s hourly income
- Floor Space – the number of tiles that the gym has; the more tiles there are, the more equipment and decorations that can be placed
- Hourly Income – a set amount of cash generated every hour; it can be collected at the gym’s front door
- Cash/Credit Reward from Ads – the rewards garnered from ad watching; when collecting from the cash stash, you can either take from the stash as is or collect more earnings by watching a short ad (often 30 seconds long)
- Item Tier Limit – the maximum tier of equipment that you can buy for the gym
- Price – the cost of the gym facility

Equipment
A gym is not a gym if it does not even have equipment. There is plenty of equipment that you can buy ranging from conventional gym machines to MMA-specific training equipment.
There are two types of equipment: gym equipment, fight equipment, and rings. Gym equipment trains the base stats (strength, agility, condition), fight equipment trains skills such as punches and kicks, and rings train defenses against enemy attacks.
Gym Equipment
Equipment | Training Type | Cost | Bonus |
Treadmill | Conditioning | 350 Cash
Bench Press | Strength | ||
Stepper Board | Agility | ||
Training Bike | Conditioning | 15 Credits | +50% training time reduction (can be upgraded) |

Fight Equipment

Free Standing Dummy | Clinchwork
Punching Bag | Elbows, Punches | 400 Cash |
Kick Bag | High Kicks, Low Kicks
Grappling Dummy | Ground Grappling, Submission, Takedowns | 600 Cash |
Rings

Wooden Boxing Ring | Clinchwork, Ground Grappling, Strike Def, Knees Def, Kick Def, Takedown Def, Submission Def | 3500 Cash |
Homemade MMA Ring | 40 Credits |
Each piece of equipment has several stats you must take note of.
- Prestige per Hour – the number of prestige points that the equipment generates hourly
- Max Prestige – the maximum amount of prestige points that can be earned from the hourly prestige income
- Max Skillpoints – the maximum amount of skill points that an equipment can provide to any fighter before becoming unusable
- Training Speed Bonus – the percentage of bonus skill points granted to a fighter; this feature is only available for premium gym equipment (ones that can only be bought and upgraded with credits)
- Floor Space – the number of tiles it occupies in the gym
Equipment can be upgraded to increase their Prestige per Hour, Max Prestige, and Max Skillpoints (this makes the equipment usable again after using up all skill points). Additionally, fighting equipment and premium gym equipment can even have higher “Training Time Reduction” upon upgrading, which makes training a fighter quicker. Upgrades can be purchased with either cash or credits. It depends on the currency you used to buy the equipment in the first place.
Building the Gym
The game allows you to place or rearrange your gym equipment to wherever you like in a very easy-to-use interface.
- To edit your gym, click on the “Design” button.
- All your purchased but unplaced equipment is displayed at the bottom. You can filter these according to gym equipment, fight equipment, rings, and decorations. This bottom menu also serves as temporary storage for existing equipment. Click “Remove All” to put all current equipment into storage. This makes fully rearranging the gym easier.
- Click any gym equipment or decoration to individually select them. Once selected you can move them anywhere else if they are glowing green (it will glow red if it conflicts with another piece of equipment) or put them into storage by clicking “Remove”. You can also rotate them to change their orientation.
Gym Building Tips
At this point, you have now learned all you need to know about building an MMA gym. Your gym will expand as you play the game, and it is helpful to apply some tips and tricks along the way.
- Have at least two pieces of equipment – buy at least two pieces of equipment that train one or two base stats to prepare the gym for future fighters. For example, with the strong base stat, have at least two bench presses or two dumbbells.
- Use the temporary storage – not all equipment is going to fit in the gym at first; store all of them in storage in design mode first
- Organize your gym into stations – allocate one area for training skills and allocate another for training base stats. For example, one half of the gym consists of treadmills, steppers, and bench presses whereas the other half consists of punching bags, kick bags, and the like. You may use plants to serve as dividers for a tidier look. Additionally, you may also want to purchase the Small Suburban Gym facility as its flooring is neatly divided into several rectangles. Each rectangle can serve as a station.
