Players can accumulate rewards even when they’re not actively playing the game. Called as “Divine Benefits” officially, these idle resources can stock up to 12 hours at a time. The quality and quantity of the rewards accumulated depends on how far you have progressed in the main story mode. Players can claim an additional 2 hours worth of resources for free each day. Tip #2. Level Up your Main Heroes

If you’re chasing to be at the top of the server leader boards, you will likely need a lot of CP (Combat Power). It is a cumulative number that is given to each account and hero. This number is made up of additional stats such as total hero power, gear power, etc. Perhaps the best way to directly increase CP is by simply levelling up your owned heroes. Players should constantly level up their main 5 playing heroes that they use in most of the game modes. One of the best tips we can impart for newcomers is to collect as many pieces of gear as you can from the idle rewards and daily dungeons. Gear, much like heroes, do come in different rarities. For example, the starter green gear gives low stats but red mythical gear can give an abundant amount of stats to any heroes you own. To equip gear to your heroes, you will need to first click on their portrait. Once reached the hero interface, you should see an “Equip” icon on the left-hand corner. Click on it to manage gear of the particular hero. The game has an quick equip option that automatically equips your hero with the best available gear according to their class and type.

Tip #4. Recruit the Strongest Heroes!

Monkey King: Wukong War is a hero-collector game that uses the gacha mechanics to help players acquire new heroes. Called officially as “Divines”, these heroes come in different rarities. The higher the rarity of the hero, the stronger they generally are due to better base stats and stronger abilities. Each hero has multiple active and passive abilities that players can unlock by levelling and promoting them. Having a strong line-up consisting of high rarity heroes will automatically have better CP and stats than a weaker line-up consisting of low rarity heroes. In this game, combat power plays a huge role in deciding the outcome of battles.

Tip #5. Complete the Chapter Missions for Generous Rewards!

If you’re confused at any point of the game on where to head next, simply take a look at the chapter missions that denote what you need to do in order to progress farther. They are available in the “Level” section on the right-hand side.
