MU Monarch SEA is an action RPG that is officially licensed as part of the MU franchise. Players can traverse through lush landscapes and take on gruesome challenges in the wake of solving the mysteries behind the chaos occurring on the continent. Action-packed to the core, you will never get tired of fighting enemies, be it small mobs, or large server-wide bosses. This article sheds light on some helpful tips and tricks to ensure you are progressing efficiently. Let’s begin! 

Tip #1. Focusing on the Main Quests

It doesn’t matter whether you are an experienced veteran or a newbie, completing your main quests should be the biggest priority for any player starting their adventures in MU Monarch SEA. The game offers 2 types of quests – Main and Side. The former allows players to get tons of resources, progress through the storyline, and unlock new content. The latter allows players to reap more resources but does not add any value to your overall progress. It’s imperative to complete both type of quests, but give priority to the main quests to unlock new content. 

Tip #2. Choosing the Right Class

Once you boot up the game and login to your account, the first thing you are tasked with is choosing a class. Choosing the right class is probably the most important decision that you need to take. It’s advised that you view a thorough class guide (Class Guide) and judge each of the 4 classes available before making the choice. Keep in mind, once you have chosen a class, you cannot go back. It’s an irreversible decision. Each class has their own pros and cons that you need to know about beforehand. Sadly, the game does not specify more on each class’s abilities but it does give a vague idea about the playstyle.

Tip #3. Equipping Consumables

On your journey, you will be fighting hundreds if not thousands of mobs of enemies. These enemies are designed in a way to consistently spawn after sometime, offering players a lucrative avenue to farm experience and gold. At the lower levels, even these pesky minions can cause some trouble, especially if you’re looking to fight them while being AFK. At the bottom of the combat screen, you will see a green bar encompassing different circular icons. These are the slots from where you can access quick consumables. 

As the name suggests, consuming these potions can give you different effects. For example, the health potion will help you regenerate health over time, and the mana potion will help you regenerate mana over time. It’s advised that you always have these potions in your quick inventory. There’s also an option to auto-consume them, allowing you to not worry about your character’s health or mana going down in fights. 

Tip #4. Allocation of Attribute Points 

Perhaps the biggest question that is frequently asked by players in MU Monarch SEA remains to be how to allocate points wisely. While there’s no perfect answer to this question, we can help you understand what each attribute provides. Depending on your playstyle and character/class choice, you can allocate points to respective attributes:

• Strength

• Agility

• Stamina

• ENG

Investing your points in the Strength attribute provides you with physical attack, attack rate, and physical damage stats. Investing your points in the Agility attribute provides you with Defense, defense rate, and attack speed stats. Investing your points in the Stamina attribute provides you with flat HP stats. Investing your points in the ENG attribute provides you with Magic power, magic attack power, and magic damage stats. There’s also a “Recommended” option that allows the game to allocate the points on your behalf according to your character. This is the best option to choose if you’re a new player. 

Tip #5. Joining a Guild

A guild is the best place for like-minded individuals to collaborate and collate resources. Players can join a guild to not only take part in server activities and guild content but to also make long lasting friendships and bonds with other players. It’s imperative to join a Guild as soon as possible or else you will miss out on some core rewards such as login rewards, guild quests, and more. Players can also share strategies with other players to counter tough challenges via the Guild chat system.
