Omniheroes is an idle RPG but it has so many gameplay features that it can prove to be intimidating for players to learn everything about it in a single day. Even people who are experienced at playing games like these have to learn important parts of the game sooner or later. Luckily, we’ve gathered some of the most useful tips and tricks that veteran players had to share to give newbies an easier time understanding what they need to do to get the best possible start at the game.
Saving Up Tickets
Summoning powerful heroes is probably the most crucial thing that players will need since it impacts their playthrough the most. Unfortunately, the gacha system prevents players from collecting the characters they want in the game without needing to spend money or farming for months at a time. That’s why it’s important to conserve all the gems and tickets that you have needed to summon at the Halls of Heroes so that you can maximize your chances of getting a good hero.
We’ve already ranked some of the best heroes you need to look out for in our Hero Tier List so check that out if you need to know who the best characters are in the game. Remember that it’s always better to summon 10 at a time to maximize your chances of getting a Legendary unit. It’s also good to save your gems and tickets until there is an event banner since most of the characters that they release during these periods are really good in terms of their base strength.
Completing Daily Tasks
There are many tasks in Omniheroes that are locked behind a daily limit that players will want to learn about since they give useful rewards that hardcore players try to stock up on whenever they can. Daily quests, dungeons, and event missions all fall under dailies that players need to accomplish every day when playing the game. The rewards that you get from these are extremely important since they are mostly used for upgrading your team and buying important items from the shop.
Completing daily tasks requires only a bit of time investment. It will take less than 30 minutes to do all of the daily tasks and daily dungeons, which is incredibly worth it even if you have a busy schedule. As long as you do them every day, you’ll be able to keep up with the top-ranked players in the game and climb towards a certain ranking depending on the heroes that you currently have. Remember that having powerful heroes is not enough since you’ll also need to upgrade them to their fullest potential.
Rushing the Campaign
Idle games usually link the rewards a player can get with their progress in the main campaign. Players need to understand that the idle rewards system isn’t a free-loot system where players can simply get anything they want without doing anything at all. The idle rewards become increasingly useles as time passes by without progressing in the main campaign because your characters outgrow the need for the resources and loot that you acquire. Eventually, you won’t even earn enough to upgrade the weakest member of your team.
A good practice to apply in Omniheroes is to reach Chapter 3 during your initial playthrough of playing the game. Completing at least 5 stages a day after that will ensure that you’re always progressing enough to get good rewards. However, you should always push as many stages as possible in the main campaign. The only thing that should hold you back is when the enemies in the main campaign end up being too difficult to defeat. It’s also a good idea to use your Chest skip at the end of the day instead of when you log in.
Upgrading Equipment & Heroes
One thing that people don’t do enough is upgrade their gear in the game. Even gray-quality gear in the game is worth upgrading because you’ll eventually reach a point where you don’t have enough power rating to proceed in the main campaign. However, you should conserve the majority of your resources for when you get blue quality gear, which is the standard that you should have when building up towards becoming a high-level player. Eventually, you’ll also gain access to legendary gear which is significantly harder to upgrade.
Heroes also need to be upgraded in the game. Leveling up isn’t the only way to upgrade your heroes. There are also other important upgrade methods such as ranking them up, unlocking new abilities, and giving them relics. The hardest method is ranking up characters because it involves having the player pull duplicate copies of the same hero. As long as you save up your tickets, you’ll eventually reach the point where you’ll get enough duplicates to rank up your heroes.
Joining a Guild
Joining a guild is the final thing that players need to keep in mind when playing Omniheroes. Most people see guilds only as a social aspect of the game but most mobile games have used this system to introduce new gameplay features that the player can use. That’s why it’s extremely rewarding to be part of an active guild.
When joining a guild, make sure to join one that has active members. Upgrade your standards and choose a guild in the top 15 rankings because those are guaranteed to have great leadership and active members that will contribute to earning more rewards for everyone. As a member, don’t forget to be active as well since it will benefit you as well in the long run.
