Tips #1. Focus on Advancing 1 Hero at a Time

As you might already know, Plague Invader: Survival Wars is a gacha game that requires players to draw heroes from the Lucky Draw in order to use them. Each hero is assigned a rarity and performs differently, adding to the overall collectability factor. We would highly recommend that players choose the hero that they feel suits their play style and work on 1 hero only at a time. You are given a limited amount of resources at the early stages of the game. 

You should use them to at least take your favorite initial hero to red grade 5 stars. A common misunderstanding that a lot of players face is that they think they need higher-rarity characters to be able to progress. Contrary to that, they just need to focus on 1 character at a time and master it until they have enough resources to draw new heroes and build a healthy squad. 

Tip #2. Focusing the Use of Direct Attacks 

Your mecha is hands down going to be the most powerful allied minion on the entire battlefield. The mecha boasts a huge amount of Attack, Defense, and large HP pools to be drained. Enemies, or waves of enemies, will focus on your weakest link in the team, especially as you go to the higher stages in the adventure mode. A common tactic used by many veterans of the game is to simply target the enemy manually with your mecha. The targeted enemy should be the one that is doing the most damage to your squishy heroes or lowest HP heroes. This helps in reducing the overall elimination of your team members and guarantees their survival. You can also pair this strategy with a healer hero to keep the allies alive and healthy.

Tip #3. Pay Attention to your Formation

Plague Invader: Survival Wars features a wide array of heroes that possess a unique set of active and passive abilities. With such a wide roster of recruitable heroes, naturally, some are going to be better for you while others might be bad for you. Having a good knowledge of the heroes in your roster and formation is going to be a key to winning most of the battles along with progressing in the game. As the game features mainly PvP-oriented game modes, you will need to make a formation that can survive till the last and guarantee yourself some rewards for your hard work.

Many veterans in the community suggest having at least 1 healer and 1 Defender in your team to maximize progression and survival. The defender can act as a sturdy tank, guarding your squishy damage dealers while also sustaining a lot of damage. The healers, on the other hand, can act as a failsafe switch and heal allies that are on the verge of death.

Tip #4. Analyzing the Enemies

One of the best tips that any veteran of Plague Invader: Survival Wars can give you is to simply take a look at the number of enemies that are going to be occurring during a stage. This tip is more so relevant for the PvE side of the game. If you can gauge the required strength even before the fight starts, that will help you massively without you being frustrated by not being able to beat it mindlessly. Oftentimes, all that is required is to wait and upgrade your current heroes and then tackle the stage you faced difficulty.

Tip #5. Timing your Watch Skills

Watch skills are some of the most crucial skills that you have the full power to control at your will. They can also be tailored to your own likes, further benefitting the type of hero that wears them. If you equip a watch that provides special skills based on your character’s role, you can help him/her become more effective. For example, you can equip an Assault type hero with a watch that guarantees an additional attack whenever the wearer attacks. This will boost the overall DPS output of the hero.
