Pokémon UNITE is a strategic 5v5 multiplayer online battle arena (MOBA) game developed by TiMi Studio Group and published by The Pokémon Company. Players form teams of five and battle against opponents to score points by capturing wild Pokémon and depositing energy into the enemy goal zones. Each match typically lasts 10 minutes, making it perfect for quick yet engaging gameplay. A tier list helps you sort out the strongest heroes in the current meta. Although useful for more hardcore rank climbers, knowing about the strongest Pokemons in the meta can also be useful for casual players. Check out the complete tier list below!

S Tier Pokemons

Let’s take a look at all of the Pokemons in this tier:

Blissey

Blissey is a melee-ranged Support type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Bliss Assistance states that she becomes unstoppable and sprints to the specified ally Pokémon to deliver an egg, which grants that buddy a shield and increases their Attack and Sp. Atk by 20% for 6 seconds.  The user also intercepts 50% of the ally’s post-mitigation damage as unmitigated damage for 6 seconds.  While dashing, opposing Pokémon are harmed and launched into the air for 0.8 seconds.  When you reach your target ally, any close enemy Pokémon are hurt again.

Darkrai

Darkrai is a melee-ranged Speedster type Pokemon that is a special attacker. His unite move Worst Nightmare states that the user becomes invincible and uses a sleeping spell on the enemy team’s targeted Pokémon.  If the target is successfully put to sleep, the user’s move cooldowns are reset, the target is marked to receive 3% max HP damage over time every 0.5s for 10s (up to 21 times; maximum 63% max HP damage as Sp. Atk-based damage), and the user sends that target into a nightmare realm centered on their initial location for up to 8s.  

The user follows the target through the nightmare realm.  Goal zones, jump pads, and Berries have no effect on Darkrai or the target when they are in the nightmare realm.  Other Pokémon outside the nightmare world cannot attack Darkrai or their target while they are inside.

Galarian Rapidash

Galarian Rapidash is a long-ranged Speedster type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Triad Blitz states that the user becomes unstoppable and charges at the targeted enemy Pokémon, shoving them into the way and stunning them for 0.8 seconds when hit.  If the user hits the specified opposing Pokémon after the charge has ended, a weird triangular space form around them. That Pokémon cannot leave that location. 

When the strange gap is created, this manoeuvre can be used up to three times within 5.5 seconds.  With each subsequent use, the user moves at high speed forward, injuring any Pokémon in their path.  If the course of a dash begins or stops in the mysterious space, this move can be used again right away.  Otherwise, there is a 3-second cooldown between dashes.

Mimikyu

Mimikyu is a melee-ranged All-Rounder type Pokemon that is a physical attacker. Her unite move Play With Me… states that Mimikyu leaps at an adversary, trapping them inside Mimikyu’s fabric, doing damage over time and providing a shield. The trapped enemy is solely affected by this Unite Move and the affects Mimikyu applied prior to using it.  after Mimikyu loses their shield, or after 2.8 seconds pass, the user stops attacking and hops in the specified direction.  The maximum number of hits is seven, with each hitting every 0.4 seconds.  The Unite buffs appear when the move is finished.  This ability counteracts Unstoppable.

Miraidon

Miraidon is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Bright Future Meteor Storm states that Miraidon develops hindrance resistance and summons up to 5 meteorites in a succession, each targeting a specific region and harming opponent Pokémon.  If a meteorite strikes an enemy Pokémon, it boosts the damage of following meteorites by an additional 20%.  The last meteorite hits opponent Pokémon in a broader area of effect and throws them for 1 second.

When the first meteorite is summoned, all Unite Move effects become active.  This Unite Move expires when released, consuming 10% of the Unite Move gauge.  Each meteorite called down consumes no more than 30% of the Unite Move gauge.

A Tier Pokemons

Let’s take a look at all of the Pokemons in this tier:

Alolan Ninetales

Alolan Ninetales is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Snow Globe states that Ninetales attacks with a chilling blast of snow and ice that deals damage to foes in Ninetales’ area of effect when it hits.  Deals more damage to frozen foes.  Ninetales is unstoppable throughout the cast.

Blastoise

Blastoise is a long-ranged Defender type Pokemon that is a special attacker. His unite move Hydro Typhoon states that Blastoise gains a shield for 4 seconds and sweeps powerful water jets in a huge circle around itself, delivering massive damage and knocking foes into the air for 1.5 seconds.  Blastoise is unstoppable with this move.

Chandelure

Chandelure is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Ignite Midnight states that Chandelure reduces the vision of foes around it by 30% for 3 seconds.  If this Unite Move is used again, Chandelure will continuously fire a beam of fire in a certain direction, causing damage to any Pokémon it hits.  The beam can be redirected during firing, and the final burst causes more damage.  Ignite Midnight can be canceled early.

Espeon

Espeon is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Psychic Solare states that Espeon uses mental force to propel enemies in the region of effect into the air and suspend them.  After a pause, an explosion erupts, inflicting damage on all foes in the area of effect and pushing them.  Espeon is unstoppable with this move.

Gardevoir

Gardevoir is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Fairy Singularity states that the user warps space in the selected area, inflicting damage on opponent Pokémon and drawing them toward the center four times.  As the warped space disappears, opposing Pokémon in the area of influence suffer more damage and are pushed away from the core.

B Tier Pokemons

Let’s take a look at all of the Pokemons in this tier:

Cinderace

Cinderace is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a physical attacker. His unite move Blazing Bicycle Kick states that the user gets unstoppable and generates a massive ball of flame before kicking it toward the targeted opposing Pokémon.  The ball generates a powerful shock wave that harms opponent Pokémon in the area of effect, causing additional missing HP damage.  When this Unite Move hits, the user’s movement speed increases by 10% for 5 seconds.

Delphox

Delphox is a long-ranged Attacker type Pokemon that is a special attacker. Her unite move Fanciful Fireworks states that for 8 seconds, enemies in the selected area receive damage over time.  When enemies are hit, their movement speed and HP recovery effects are lowered by 50% for 1.75 seconds.  Recovery effects are impaired and cannot be cleaned while in the zone.  The decreased HP recovery effects will stay for 1.75s after exiting the zone, and they can be cleaned.  Duration: 8 seconds (with 0.5-second intervals).

Gengar

Gengar is a melee-ranged Speedster type Pokemon that is a special attacker. His unite move Phantom Ambush states that the user becomes unstoppable by jumping forward to the selected spot, then entering stealth and increasing their movement speed by 30% for 7 seconds.  When the user launches an attack, they exit stealth.  If this Unite Move is used again, the user becomes invincible as they leap out to attack, damaging opponent Pokémon in the area of effect and slowing their movement by 50% for 1.5 seconds when it hits. Gengar prepares an enhanced attack each time this move is used.
