Top Tips For Surviving Longer In PUBG Mobile
Want some tips on how to survive in PUBG mobile for longer? Check out the information we have provided below.
In this guide, we go over everything you need to know about surviving for as long as possible in PUBG mobile.
Using these tips will help you to stay alive for longer out on the battlefield and that’ll help you to increase your chance of securing yourself a chicken dinner.
Don’t Engage In Fights Until You’re Ready
This is one of the best tips for keeping yourself alive for as long as possible. You should always try to gear up and prepare yourself before you in engage in combat. If somebody is trying to fight you from a distance, back out and continue looting until you’re 100% compared.
To prepare yourself for a fight, you’ll need a few things. Firstly, make sure you have a long ranged weapon with enough ammo. Using SMGs and shotguns can be good for indoor combat, but you’ll not do well with them out in the open world. If you can, try to find a good scope as well.
Next, you’ll need to make sure you have enough meds. If you get attacked during a fight and your health drops down, you’ll want to be able to recover your health as quickly as possible. We’d suggest trying to find 2 or 3 first aid kits and a few energy drinks or painkillers to prepare yourself.
Finally, make sure you have armor. Head armor can reduce damage taken to your head and body armor can reduce damage taken to your body. There are three levels of armor, each offering different levels of protection.
Level 3 armor is super rare, but level 1 & 2 are relatively common. Try to find level 2 armor before you jump into a fight.
Playing Squads? Stick With Your Teammates
If you are playing in squads or duo mode, make sure to stick with your teammates. Not only can your teammates provide you with support if you get into a fight, but they can revive you if you get knocked down.
If you engage with another player on your own, chances are you’ll be fighting up against an entire squad. If you do this alone, you’ll be putting yourself at a huge disadvantage.
Always Keep An Eye On The Next Play Area
This one got me killed a lot when I first started playing PUBG. In these types of games, the play area periodically shrinks in size. If you stay outside of the play area, you’ll get killed.
Regularly keep an eye on your map to make sure you’re in the next play area. The play area is marked by the white circle, and the blue circle showcases the closing in of the old play area.
You can also see a timer just below the map – this shows you how long you have until the next play area closes in.
Go From Cover To Cover
If you need to move from one position to another, always consider where your next point of cover will be. You never know where you might be shot from, so if you plan ahead and always have cover in front of you, you’ll always have somewhere to hide whilst you pinpoint where the shots came from.
Play PUBG Mobile on PC
The worst thing you can do in PUBG mobile is run through an open field. This will put you up against threats that you won’t be able to defend yourself against.
In some rare situations, you’ll be forced to move through an open field. In this case, you should crouch and move from bush to bush. If you can’t hide behind cover, you can try to keep your position hidden.
Take A Minute To Recover Health Before Re-engaging In Fights
If you get shot up badly, take a second to heal yourself up before you try and face your opponent. If you peak out at an enemy when your health is down, you’ll be put at a disadvantage and they’ll only need one or two hits to kill you.
Always try to keep your health as high as possible, even if that means using your most valuable meds. High health is always more important than having meds stacked away.
Be Smart About Where You Land
It might be tempting to land at the military base, prison, or other highly contested areas for the chance to get some rare loot, but you’ll often get yourself killed by doing this.
Instead, land near the less populated areas next to the highly contested spots. This will allow you to get enough loot safely – you can then engage the popular areas and take down the players that have looted the better gear.
Chances are, most players in highly contested areas will either be dead or involved in a firefight by the time you’ve finished looting a place nearby.

Play Safe During The End Game
If you manage to survive long enough, there will always be a point in the game where the play area is really small and the player count is also relatively low. You may not hear any gun fights, but there are guaranteed to be people very close to you.
If you see a player, you should only shoot them if you know you can take them down. You should try to minimize the amount of time you shoot as much as possible. As soon as you shoot, you’ll draw all of the attention to you.
One working strategy involves you staying quiet and waiting for other players to kill each other. You can then shoot every now and then to take down any enemies that have engaged in fights with other players.
Stay Aware Of Your Surroundings
Use the eye icon to look around you – use it as much as you can because this tool will help you to stay aware of your surroundings. If you’re always looking ahead, you’ll never know if there are any players behind you.
You should also turn up your sound so that you can hear footsteps and gunshots.
