Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT Guide to Classes and Jobs
The latest game by Gravity Game Link is none other than Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT, which is the NFT implemented version of the original Ragnarok Labyrinth. The base game remains the same except for the implementation of NFT and blockchain technology. The game is currently available on Google Play Store and iOS Store as a free-to-play title. The game, however, follows a play-to-earn (P2E) play style where players can earn Onbuff Points and convert them into cryptocurrency tokens.
Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT is an MMORPG title where players can interact with each other visually and textually. Players can also compete in different game modes like the PvP duel arena system, and take part in raids where they can earn potentially new and exclusive weapons. The game is quite lengthy to play as it requires a lot of automated grind that players can enable at the touch of a button on the right-hand side called “AUTO”. This automated grind is required to proceed farther into the game as enabling this mode, your character will defeat the various mobs of monsters that roam around the map. This will also drop some significant loot according to which floor of the Labyrinth you are currently in.
Classes in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT are just like any other class system in MMORPG titles. In Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT, there are 4 main classes under which all characters come:
- Swordsman
- Archer
- Thief
- Magician
Players can choose any of the classes from the 4 listed above at Level 5 player rank. Do not worry as reaching Level 5 is quite an easy task starting the game, you will have tons of experience bonuses stacked to make the leveling process much easier.
From level 30 onwards, players can start specializing in what Jobs they would like to assign to their character. Players can relate to this from sub-classes in other MMORPG titles where some classes can specialize or develop some skills towards achieving this goal. Players can earn more Job experience to level up their jobs currently and this experience bar is located at the top right-hand side in yellow color. This represents the current job level of the character. This is different from the base level as that is represented in green color and describes the level of your account. Currently, at the launch of Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT, there exist 8 different Jobs:
- Knight
- Crusader
- Dancer
- Hunter
- Sage
- Wizard
- Assassin
- Rogue
Jobs are limited and cannot be chosen according to the free will of the player. They are limited by which class they have opted for at the start of the game. For example, Swordsman characters can only level up Knight or Crusader as their primary job. Similarly, an Archer can only level up Dancer or Hunter as their primary job. Players can choose their secondary jobs as well after they reach level 60. This secondary job is going to be the other Job that the player previously rejected at the first opportunity of the job change.
Swordsman Class
The Swordsman class of characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT are mighty warriors who excel at both defensive and offensive capabilities. Their skillset is shown to be a mix between tanks and warriors as they have the stats to go about any route. However, this also puts them in a tight position where they cannot perform extremely well in any of the roles. Hence, players can choose them as a mediator between both extremes. This makes them an excellent choice to recommend to new players. Swordsman’s passives also allow them to regenerate their HP at the rate of 0.1 per second as well as gain additional Magic Defense and Magic Resistance.
Archer Class
The Archer class of characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT are weak but deal the highest DPS. They can dish out tons of damage within seconds while moving at a decent movement speed which makes them the best choice if you want to dish out insane Damage Per Second to enemies. Players can choose this class if they want to play PvP using more manual gameplay as Archers can dodge attacks easily. Archer’s passives allow them to gain Attack Speed at the rate of 0.75 per second and increase Hit Rate/Attack by +1 and +2, respectively.
Magician Class
The Magician class of characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT are heavy damage dealers that can also crowd control the enemies. Magician utilizes the 4 different elements present in nature to their advantage. These elements can be observed in the skills of the Magician. Fire Bolt is an active skill is an AOE damaging ability that inflicts Burning debuff for 5.75% of their MAX HP. Cold Bolt is another active skill that deals AOE damage while having a chance to Freeze the enemies. Magician’s 3rd active ability Lightning Bolt is also an AOE damaging ability that targets all enemies and has a chance to inflict a Stun effect on the target. His 4th active ability Stone Bolt is an active ability that deals AOE magical damage and has a chance to inflict a Stun effect.
Thief Class
The Thief class of characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT are highly mobile and deal insane damage. These agile characters can move at very high movement speeds and deal physical damage to the enemies. Their 1st active skill Envenom is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage to the enemy while having a chance to Poison them. The 2nd ability Sightless Mind is a mixed damaging ability that deals damage to the enemy by dashing towards them. When thieves are equipped with Daggers, they will deal with additional attacks when using their basic attack which results in higher DPS output. These cannot exceed more than 2 attacks in a row. His 4th ability is also a passive one which provides additional Luck but decreases Flee rate.
Knight Job
Knight is the first job transfer option for Swordsman characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. They are quite the sturdy warriors as their only job is to stand between multiple enemies and take damage from them. They are capable of increasing their Attack Speed with the help of their first passive. Their second passive ability grants them increased Attack and Movement speed but their evasion rate decreases. They are capable of dealing with mixed damage which is always a great source of damage as it cannot be mitigated.
Crusader Job
Crusader is the first job transfer option for Swordsman characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. Crusaders are pure Tanks that can not only deal with annoying damage dealers of enemies but also protect the backline from the pesky Thieves. Their active ability deals Physical damage to all enemies in a designated area and inflicts the Silence debuff to enemies that are hit. The 2nd active ability Sacrifice is a major supportive ability that increases his own Attack power and then receives all the incoming damage from allies. Hence, no ally will take damage from enemies for the duration that this skill is active.
Dancer Job
Dancer is the first job transfer option of Archer characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. They are stated to be healers and buffers in the game. Their 1st active ability states that the Dancer shoots an array of arrows at the targeted enemy and deals mixed damage. Their 2nd ability is also an active ability that restores the selected ally’s HP and the HP recovery is directly proportional to the characters’ INT. Her 3rd active skill increases the ally’s attack speed by playing her tunes.
Hunter Job
Hunter is the first job transfer option of Archer characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. Hunters are more offensive and resemble the Archers we see in other MMORPG titles. They are swift, deal a good amount of damage, and are especially good for killing bosses in-game. Their 1st active ability is a single targeted damaging ability that can also inflict Stun on the target. Their 2nd ability is a piercing damaging ability that goes till the end of the distance where it is shot at, damaging all the enemies in the trajectory. Their passive abilities state that Hunters deal more damage to large monsters and have an increased range of attack.
Sage Job
Sage is the first job transfer option for Magician characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. Sage is the master of all abilities and an expert in dealing both physical and magical damage to enemies. His 3rd active ability states that he can increase the elemental attack power of all allies. The elements include Fire, Water, Wind, and Earth. He can alternate between Staff and Rod as weapons. When he is equipped with Staff, Sage will get increased Physical Attack and Attack Speed. When he is equipped with Rod, Sage will take reduced incoming damage.
Wizard Job
Wizard is the first job transfer option for Magician characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. He is classified as a long-range damage dealer which is capable of transforming basic attacks into high damage-dealing abilities. He has multiple sets of abilities from different elements in his arsenal which makes him a difficult foe in the PvP arena.
Rogue Job
Rogue is the first job transfer option for Thief characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. As the name implies, Rogue is capable of stealing the skills of other classes and jobs. He is also capable of making good use of them and excels in long-range combat. His 2nd active ability states he shoots multiple arrows which deal mixed damage to the enemies. His passive ability also states that he has a higher item drop rate% during battles which makes him a good dungeon hero.
Assassin Job
Assassin is the first job transfer option of Thief characters in Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT. They are notorious for poisoning the targets with their weapons and abilities. They are also quite deadly in terms of dealing high damage in a few seconds. Their 1st ability is a single targeted damaging ability that deals physical damage and has a chance to inflict Stun on enemies. The 2nd active ability is also the same but instead of Stunning the target, they instead Poison them.
Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT is a very grindy and time-consuming game which is needed to be played for a long duration of time continuously. This much usage can damage the smaller capacitive batteries of mobile devices. Playing Ragnarok Labyrinth NFT on a bigger screen without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay is highly recommended.
