Ragnarok Origin: ROO adopts a classic class system that is loved by millions worldwide, particularly fans of the Ragnarok universe. Each class is distinct and poses a unique playstyle to players. Players can choose their class just post character creation, enabling them to enter the world of Ragnarok Origin: ROO. A brief introduction is given for all classes but their individual pros and cons are not explained in detail. In this class guide, our aim is to clarify how each class functions, empowering beginners to make the right decision for their account. Keep in mind, the classes once chosen, cannot be reversed or changed.
Classes in Ragnarok Origin: ROO are just like any other class system in MMORPG titles. In Ragnarok Origin: ROO, there are 6 main classes which you can choose from:
- Swordsman
- Mage
- Acolyte
- Thief
- Merchant
- Archer
Swordsman Class
One of the most common position classes in MMORPGs, such as the Ragnarok series, is the Swordsman. The Swordsman is a melee profession that can use both swords and spears due to its versatility. Swords and spears differ primarily in their attack power and attack speed. The attack speed increases when a sword is chosen over a spear. Additionally, the combat effectiveness of each type of weapon varies.
Check out their abilities:
Withering Strike Lv.10 – A single target attack skill that deals significant damage to a single enemy. (Increase your level to 5 as a prerequisite for Blast Blast).
Explosive Blast Lv.10 – Causes an explosion of fire around the character, dealing Fire elemental damage to multiple targets.
Increase Recovery Power Lv.10 – Increases HP recovery rate and increases the effectiveness of HP healing items.
Sword Mastery Lv.10 – Increases the attack power of swords
Mage Class
The powers of the elements are inherent in the souls of mages. They use their knowledge and intelligence of these elements to greatly influence the battlefield, even though they are still working on perfecting these powers. They were raised in Geffen to the west of the enigmatic Mjolnir Mountain, where they were able to see magic everywhere and take advantage of it. There are 3 core playstyles that players can progress towards as a mage.
Check their specialization:
Fire Mage – This build excels against monsters vulnerable to the fire element. Hunt monsters of the Earth and Undead elements, or change their element using Petrify.
Wind Mage – This build excels against monsters vulnerable to the wind element. Hunt Water element monsters, or change their element using Freezing Blast.
Spear Mage – This versatile build excels at quick element switching using the basic elemental spears. Switch between Lightning, Fire Spear and Ice depending on the element.
Acolyte Class
Acolytes are devoted light-followers. Your primary skills are support and healing. For any team, they are indispensable. The only position qualified to use sacred elements is this one. From Prontera, the capital city, they belong to the Acolyte Clan. There are 3 core playstyles that players can progress towards as an acolyte.
Check their specialization:
Prayer – This build focuses on supporting party members by providing them with healing and buffs from abilities like Blessing and Increase Agility.
Exorcist – This build focuses on Divine Light, which deals holy magical physical damage to single targets.
Battle Priest – This build focuses on Speed. ATK and deals continuous DMG. The Novice’s buffs increase his attributes and Speed. ATK, allowing them to activate the effects of cards with normal attacks.
Thief Class
Thieves are experts with the dagger and stealth. Battle dynamics can always be changed by surprise attacks and ambushes. They hail from Morroc, Rune Midgard’s desert city. The Thief is most recognized for his use of poison and stealth kills. The Thief class will be ideal for getting close to the enemy without drawing attention to yourself. This implies that using this class will involve a lot of melee combat and physical damage; in order to deal damage, you will need to accelerate your attacks.
Thieves have 3 distinct playstyles. Check them out:
Thief Trick Control – Maximize your STR for more damage. It is not necessary to have AGI in the beginning. For Hit, you can depend on your equipment.
Thief Auto Attack – Put points into both STR and AGI with a 2:1 ratio. This will increase both Base Damage and Attack Speed.
Thief Poison – Same as the Auto Attack build, put points into both STR and AGI with a 2:1 ratio. This will increase both Base Damage and Attack Speed.
Merchant Class
Adventurers with official ties to the Merchant Clan are known as merchants. Through buying, selling, and dealing with goods in general, they learn how to make money. In certain situations, they can even use the power of coins or other assets they carry as assets. Due to their initial low damage, merchants launch into the game slowly.
However, in the mid to late game, the Merchant Class can deal a ton of damage if you have the right cores and cards, patience, and dedication. Sometimes merchants will spend Eden Coins. Therefore, you must use your passive abilities to sell more items and converters and increase your profit margin. The greatest game buffs can be enabled via merchants, who support allies in PVE.
Archer Class
Archers are well-liked in the world of Ragnarok because of their accurate, long-range, and nimble attacks. In particular, the Archers’ power is enhanced in Ragnarok Origin. Elemental arrows are easily obtained, which makes your attacks effective against all kinds of enemies. Hunters can obtain an Element Converter for a significant amount of money, while other classes must pay more to accomplish the same thing.
Check out an extensive list of their abilities:
Flurry of Arrows Lv.10 – Attack twice with a bow, dealing ranged damage to the target.
Accuracy Lv.10 – Increases dexterity (DEX) by 10.
Vulture Eyes Lv.10 – Increases bow range by 10.
Concentration Lv.10 – Increases dexterity (DEX) and agility (AGI) for 4 minutes.
Ragnarok Origin: ROO is a grindy and time-consuming MMO game which requires a lot of time and effort on a daily basis. This much usage can damage the smaller capacitive batteries of mobile devices. Playing Ragnarok Origin: ROO on a bigger screen without worrying about battery drainage and smooth gameplay is highly recommended.
