The Doom Tower in Raid: Shadow Legends introduces eight unique artifact sets that can be crafted in the Forge using materials obtained from various boss battles. These sets offer different bonuses and can significantly impact your champion builds. However, since these materials are not universally available, it’s crucial to prioritize your Silver Keys on bosses that drop the resources needed for the sets you want. Below is a breakdown of each set, including its benefits, the boss that drops its materials, and whether it’s worth farming. Got questions about guilds, gaming, or our product? Join our Discord for discussions and support!

Affinitybreaker Set

4-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +30% Critical Damage.
  • Provides a 20% chance to convert a Weak Hit into a Critical Hit.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Nether Eggs.
  • Boss: Agreth, The Nether Spider (Rotations 1 & 2).

Unfortunately, the Affinitybreaker set is one of the weakest Doom Tower artifact sets. While the idea of converting Weak Hits into Critical Hits sounds appealing, the actual effectiveness is underwhelming. The set reduces the Weak Hit chance by only 7%, which isn’t a game-changing difference. Additionally, the Critical Damage bonus is additive, making it inferior to simply using two Critical Damage sets (which provide a total of 40%). Overall, unless you randomly get great rolls in the Forge, it’s best to skip farming this set.

Untouchable Set

4-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +40 Resistance.
  • Provides an Immunity buff for 2 turns at the start of each round.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Scarab Claws.
  • Boss: Borgoth, The Scarab King (Rotations 1 & 3).

Is It Worth Farming?

Yes! The Untouchable set is a direct upgrade to the Immunity set, offering extra Resistance while maintaining the crucial Immunity buff. This set is valuable for PvP content, particularly in Arena battles where preemptive control effects are common. If you can efficiently farm Borgoth, this set is a great investment in Rotation 1.

Fatal Set

2-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +15% Attack.
  • Provides +5% Critical Rate.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Magma Cores.
  • Boss: Kuldath, The Magma Dragon (Rotations 1 & 2).

Fatal is a solid early- to mid-game artifact set, especially if you’re struggling to reach 100% Critical Rate. However, for late-game players, the Cruel set (which also provides 15% Attack but ignores 5% of enemy Defense) is generally superior. If you’re a newer player or need a slight boost to your Critical Rate, Fatal is worth farming. Otherwise, prioritize better sets in Rotations 1 and 2.

Frostbite Set

2-Piece Bonus:

  • Provides a 15% chance to block Freeze debuffs.
  • Grants a 10% chance to place a Freeze debuff when attacked.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Frost Spines.
  • Boss: Sorath, The Frost Spider (Rotation 1).

Frostbite has niche applications, mainly against enemies that frequently apply Freeze, such as Tormin the Cold or Ice Golem. When stacked, the set provides up to a 45% chance to block Freeze and a 30% chance to Freeze attackers, making it superior to the standard Frost set. If you’re not prioritizing Untouchable gear in Rotation 1, Frostbite is a decent alternative.

Bloodthirst Set

4-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +12% Critical Rate.
  • Heals by 30% of damage dealt.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Dragon Bones.
  • Boss: Iragoth, The Eternal Dragon (Rotation 2).

Bloodthirst is an improved version of the Lifesteal set, making it a strong option for early- and mid-game players. The added Critical Rate helps optimize damage builds while ensuring sustainability through healing. However, for late-game players, Guardian gear (available in the same rotation) is generally the better investment.

Guardian Set

4-Piece Bonus:

  • Absorbs 10% of the damage taken by allies.
  • Heals the wearer by 10% of their maximum HP every turn.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Griffin Feathers.
  • Boss: Grythion, The Celestial Griffin (Rotations 2 & 3).

Is It Worth Farming?

Absolutely! Guardian is one of the strongest artifact sets in Raid: Shadow Legends. The passive damage absorption acts like a mini Ally Protection buff, reducing team-wide damage. The built-in self-healing makes it excellent for tanky champions in prolonged fights. If you’re choosing between Guardian and Bloodthirst in Rotation 2, Guardian is the better long-term investment. It’s also worth considering in Rotation 3 if you aren’t farming Lethal gear.

Fortitude Set

2-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +40 Resistance.
  • Provides +10% Defense.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Dreadhorn Plates.
  • Boss: Bommel, The Dreadhorn (Rotation 3).

Fortitude is an upgrade over the standard Resistance set, making it ideal for tanky champions who rely on Defense and Resistance to survive in PvE and PvP content. However, farming Bommel is notoriously difficult, so unless you have a reliable team to defeat him, it’s better to focus on Guardian or Lethal gear in Rotation 3.

Lethal Set

4-Piece Bonus:

  • Grants +10% Critical Rate.
  • Ignores 25% of enemy Defense.

How to Obtain:

  • Materials: Fae Spheres.
  • Boss: Astranyx, The Dark Fae (Rotation 3).

Is It Worth Farming?

Yes! Lethal is arguably the best Doom Tower artifact set. It’s a direct upgrade to the Savage set, one of the best offensive sets in the game. The additional 10% Critical Rate allows for more flexible builds, enabling players to optimize substats for maximum damage potential. If you’re looking to enhance your damage dealers, Lethal should be your primary focus in Rotation 3.

Best Sets to Farm

  • Early to Mid-Game: Bloodthirst (Rotation 2), Fatal (Rotation 1 & 2), Untouchable (Rotation 1).
  • Late Game: Guardian (Rotation 2 & 3), Lethal (Rotation 3), Fortitude (Rotation 3 if feasible).

Understanding the strengths of each artifact set will help you optimize your champion builds and make the most of your Silver Keys in the Doom Tower.
