RAID: Shadow Legends – Oella Legendary Champion Fusion Guide
The festival of love is looming around us and RAID: Shadow Legends are ready to celebrate with passion by releasing a new fusion champion event for – Oella, a legendary Magic affinity Support champion from the Sylvan Watchers faction. Much like the previous Valentine’s Day fusion events, Oella is also a special champion that is coupling with another champion called Ultan of the Shell. Even without him, she’s quite strong as she can constantly give resistance and continuous heal buffs to her allies. For the month of February 2023, Plarium is offering Oella free for all players through a special classic fusion event. Before we start the guide, we must address that the fusion event has already started on 9th February 2023 and runs till 24th February 2023, lasting for just over 2 weeks.

- Fusing Oella
Traditional/Classic fusion events are quite different from the usual fragment collectors as they do not offer the fragments of the champion to be fused but instead offer a process through which players can fuse the champion directly. Of course, these types of events are generally more tough compared to the fragment fusions due to the high level of resources required to first get the 4 Epic champions and then further fuse them to obtain Oella. Players can get the Rare champions required to fuse 4 copies of the new Fusion Epic champions from different events and tournaments. The milestones will vary depending on the event or the tournament. This will be an in-depth guide on the various ways available for players to obtain the different rare champions and fuse the legendary champion for February 2023 – Oella.
During this Fusion event, Plarium provides 16 rare champions in multiple Events and Tournaments at certain point requirements. For the first time in the history of classic fusion events, players will not be able to get the Epic champion separately from any tournament or event. Players will have to manually level and ascend each of the Rare champions to fuse them into the epic champion. Further, they have to level and ascend the 4 copies of the Epic champion to 5 stars level 50 to Fuse Oella. Keep in mind that these events and tournaments will take a lot of your time if you’re going to manually play the game since Plarium only provides 30 instances of Auto-Battles per day. But don’t worry, you can easily bypass the hard grinding by simply using the BlueStacks macro recorder to record your runs and keep re-running it.
Oella Champion Skills
Oella is a new legendary grade Magic affinity champion from the Sylvan Watchers faction. Oella is a Support type champion whose skills and abilities deal damage according to her Attack. Oella’s base Attack is pretty low at 395 but that isn’t an issue as she is not meant to be a damage dealer anyways. Her main utility comes from the fact that her skills provide a great mix of buffs and heals. We recommend building Oella with Speed, Defiant, Stalwart, and Bolster artifact sets with HP%, HP%/Accuracy, and Speed as the main stats. Try to focus on getting HP%, Accuracy, Speed, and Resistance% as sub-stats.
Here is a list of Oella’s skills: –
Flutter Fluster (Active)
Attacks 1 enemy. Has an 80% chance of placing [Decrease SPD] debuff for 2 turns. This debuff cannot be resisted if Ultan of the Shell is on the same team.
Level 2: Damage +10%
Level 3: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Level 4: Buff/Debuff Chance +10%
Hand of Spring (Active)
Heals all allies by 30% of their MAX HP. Increases the duration of all ally buffs by 1 turn.
Level 2: Heal +5%
Level 3: Heal +10%
Level 4: Heal +10%
Level 5: Cooldown -1
Morphosis (Active)
Fills the Turn Meters of all allies by 30%. Also places a 50% [Increase RES] buff on all allies for 2 turns.
Level 2: Cooldown -1
Level 3: Cooldown -1
Level 4: Cooldown -1
Untramelled (Passive)
Whenever an ally loses 15% or more of their MAX HP from a single hit, place a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff on that ally for 1 turn. Places a 15% [Continuous Heal] buff for 2 turns on that ally and then instantly activates it if Ultan of the Shell is on the same team. Can occur only once to an ally per turn.
AURA
Increases Ally RES in Dungeons by 75.
Oella Fusion Event Guide
Oella is a traditional style of fusion where players need to fuse him by having 4 epic champions at level 50 and ascending fully. Like many times, players require 4 copies of the same Epic champion. This Epic champion can further be fused with the help of 16 copies of the new rare champion. The copies of the Rare champion can be found in Events and Tournaments and can be collected by reaching certain milestones in them. Pretty simple, right? It is simple; however, we will give a detailed guide on how to manage your resources to obtain enough resources to fuse them. Let’s see who the new Epic champion required for fusing Oella is: –
- Merouka (Magic Affinity)
Further, players will need 16 copies of the new rare champion to fuse them into the above-mentioned Epic champion. The new Rare champion is:
- Shadowbow Tirlac (Spirit Affinity)
We will now list the various events and tournaments through which you will be able to obtain copies of these new champions.
Here is the list: –
- Ice Golem Tournament (Feb 9th – 12th)
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 1 (Feb 9th – 13th)
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1 (Feb 10th – 13th)
- Champion Chase Tournament (Feb 10th – 13th)
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1 (Feb 11th – 14th)
- Fire Knight Tournament (Feb 12th – 15th)
- Spider Tournament (Feb 15th – 18th)
- Champion Training Event Part 1 (Feb 16th – 19th)
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2 (Feb 17th – 20th)
- Summon Rush Event (Feb 17th – 20th)
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2 (Feb 19th – 22nd)
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 2 (Feb 19th – 24th)
- Dragon Tournament (Feb 19th – 22nd)
- Champion Training Event Part 2 (Feb 21st – 24th)
Preparation for these Events and Tournaments
As we can see from the timings of these Events and Tournaments presented by Plarium that many of these collide with each other. If you are confused by what some of the terms mean or where some of the locations of the dungeons and events are, here is a helpful guide. Now doing every event and tournament 1 by 1 will drain your resources very quickly, and you will be left with insufficient rare champions to fuse one copy of the Epic champion. You might need to spend gems to refill energy for completing the remaining events and tournaments.
Careful planning and judiciously using your resources will make this fusion event a little bit simpler. Take a look at our preparation process for Oella Fusion here: –
9th – 24th February 2023 –
- Ice Golem Tournament: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at 2250 Points)
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 1: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at 2850 points)
The Ice Golem tournament is a dungeon based tournament where players are required to farm the Ice Golem dungeon repeatedly to gain artifacts only obtainable from the dungeon. Players will be rewarded for the quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Keep in mind that the points for the tournament are solely given on the artifacts obtained and not by how much time you clear the dungeon or how much energy you spend. Hence, it’s recommended to clear Stage 20 of the Ice Golem dungeon for 220 times to complete the entirety of the event. This feat should cost you around 2200 energy at maximum, resulting in 10 points per energy spent. Players can also try farming Stage 25 of the Ice Golem dungeon if they are looking for better quality of artifacts. However, the most energy-efficient stage remains to be Stage 20 to complete the tournament in the least amount of energy spent.
Plarium is also going to be running a Dungeon divers event alongside the Ice Golem dungeon tournament. These type of events and tournaments usually go hand-in-hand to ease out the burden of energy expenditure on the players. Players can get points for both the tournament and event just by farming the Ice Golem dungeon. A new set of Super Raid events is also going to be active for the duration of the Ice Golem tournament. Super Raids essentially make completing the events much easier because players can enable them to earn twice the rewards in a single run by consuming twice the energy. Of course, that would also save a lot of your time as doing 220 individual runs will consume a lot of time.
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 1: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
- Champion Chase Tournament: Shadowbow Champion (Obtained at X Points)
Artifact Enhancement events are simple but drain a lot of silver resources. We haven’t had a classic fusion in a while so if you were clever, you should have enough resources by regularly using your energy daily. If you were not prepared, then you might have to spend your precious energy to farm silver coins for upgrading your equipment. Here are a few tips to achieve those 2500 points: –
- You can pre-roll your artifacts till Lvl 7/11/15 and then simply spend silver to upgrade to the next level as you get points only after upgrading artifacts to LVL 4,8,12 and 16 with the highest points being given at 6-star LVL 16 artifact upgrades.
- You can level up 3 6-Star artifacts to level 16 to easily complete this event in a go
- Save up to roughly 6 million silver per artifact enhancement event, as this amount is roughly what it takes to complete these events.
However, if you have enough silver or artifacts upgraded to a certain level, then feel free to use them to complete this event. It also takes a lot of time because the general upgrading speed for artifacts is very slow, and it fails many times as well. However, if you use BlueStacks Eco mode, you can significantly speed up this process and save so much time!
The Champion Chase tournament is one of the 2 summoning related events where players are required to obtain new champions in order to get points for the tournament. Being a tournament type event, players can get additional rewards by being placed at the top of the local and global leaderboards. Champion Chase tournaments are great for players who have saved up quite a lot of champion fragments, perhaps from the Doom Tower, previous fragment fusion events, login events, and more. Players can also get points for the tournament by acquiring champions from other sources of the game such as the Market, Shard summons, Campaign drops, and more. The quality of the champion obtained decides the number of points given.
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 1: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
The classic arena takedown tournament is one of the easiest tournaments to complete and earn points toward in this fusion event. Players simply have to gain victories in the Classic Arena game mode which is a PvP game mode. Of course, the only requirement for this tournament is for the player to have a good and stable Arena team. The higher your tier in the Classic Arena, the more points you will earn per victory. Do not worry as the overall requirement for the champion in the tournament will be adjusted for players according to their tiers. So, players in the higher tier do not have an unfair advantage.
- Fire Knight Tournament: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
The Fire Knight tournament is a dungeon based tournament where players are required to farm the Fire Knights dungeon repeatedly to gain artifacts only obtainable from the dungeon. Players will be rewarded for the quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Keep in mind that the points for the tournament are solely given on the artifacts obtained and not by how much times you clear the dungeon or how much energy you spend. Hence, it’s recommended to clear Stage 20 of the Fire Knight dungeon for 220 times to complete the entirety of the event.
This feat should cost you around 2200 energy at maximum, resulting in 10 points per energy spent. Players can also try farming Stage 25 of the Fire Knight dungeon if they are looking for better quality of artifacts. However, the most energy efficient stage remains to be Stage 20 to complete the tournament in the least amount of energy spent. A new set of Super Raid event is also going to be active for the duration of the Fire Knight tournament.
- Spider Tournament: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
The Spider tournament is a dungeon based tournament where players are required to farm the Spider dungeon repeatedly to gain artifacts only obtainable from the dungeon. Players will be rewarded for the quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Keep in mind that the points for the tournament are solely given on the artifacts obtained and not by how much times you clear the dungeon or how much energy you spend. Hence, it’s recommended to clear Stage 20 of the Spider dungeon for 220 times to complete the entirety of the event.
This feat should cost you around 2200 energy at maximum, resulting in 10 points per energy spent. Players can also try farming Stage 25 of the Spider dungeon if they are looking for better quality of artifacts. However, the most energy efficient stage remains to be Stage 20 to complete the tournament in the least amount of energy spent. A new set of Super Raid event is also going to be active for the duration of the Spider tournament.
- Champion Training Event Part 1: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
- Classic Arena Takedown Tournament Part 2: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
The Champion Training event is quite straightforward as it requires the player to upgrade their champions and improve their strength in the Tavern. Players are rewarded for different empowerment processes such as leveling up the champion, promoting champions to higher ranks, ascending champions, and upgrading their skills. The higher the rank promotion, the more points you will get for the event. The higher the level upgrade, the more points you will get for the event. Players can make use of their collected brews or chickens to do the processes in an easier and less time-consuming fashion.
The 2nd iteration of the Classic Arena Takedown tournament is going to be the same exact duplicate of the 1st iteration with the same point requirements for the Rare champion. Players just need to focus on getting the wins in the given time period. Make sure to use the free refreshes once every 5-10 minutes for a chance of getting easier opponents.
- Summon Rush Event: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X/X Points)
- Artifact Enhancement Event Part 2: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
Summon Rush event is quite simple to understand and complete, as long as you have enough summoning resources for it. The rules are simple, the more you summon the more points you get. The quality of shards also hampers the number of points you get. The quality of champions, however, does not affect the number of points obtained in this event. Here are the points received depending on the quality of the shard: –
Mystery Shard: 1 Point
Ancient Shard: 20 Points
Void Shard: 100 Points
Sacred Shard: 500 Points
The 2nd iteration of the Artifact Enhancement event starts on the same day as the dungeon-related tournament and event will. Players can make use of this opportunity and sell their useless artifacts for some extra silver. The code to complete this event is simple – Upgrade the maximum number of artifacts to the maximum level.
- Dragon Tournament: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
- Dungeon Divers Event Part 2: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
The Dragon tournament is a dungeon-based tournament where players are required to farm the Dragon dungeon repeatedly to gain artifacts only obtainable from the dungeon. Players will be rewarded for the quantity and quality of the artifacts raided from the dungeon. Keep in mind that the points for the tournament are solely given on the artifacts obtained and not by how much times you clear the dungeon or how much energy you spend. Hence, it’s recommended to clear Stage 20 of the Dragon dungeon for 220 times to complete the entirety of the event. This feat should cost you around 2200 energy at maximum, resulting in 10 points per energy spent. Players can also try farming Stage 25 of the Dragon dungeon if they are looking for better quality of artifacts.
Plarium is also going to be running a Dungeon divers event alongside the Dragon dungeon tournament. These type of events and tournaments usually go hand-in-hand to ease out the burden of energy expenditure on the players. Players can get points for both the tournament and event just by farming the Dragon dungeon. A new set of Super Raid event is also going to be active for the duration of the Dragon tournament.
- Champion Training Event Part 2: Shadowbow Tirlac Champion (Obtained at X Points)
Champion Training events are easier to complete than tournaments but players miss out on the leader board rewards if they were planning to go for them. In tournaments, players are pitted against each other in different groups. Each group consists of 100 players. Now, we are not recommending players to get to the top of the group as free-to-play players you need to save resources. Players should aim to just get the milestone reward of 1 x Shadowbow Tirlac champion. Here are some of our tips and tricks to complete this tournament efficiently:
- Always remember to level up your chickens before using them to promote your champions.
- Do not waste brews to level up champions who are already at a high level as the efficiency of brews decreases drastically if used on high-level champions.
- Use Mystery shards to generate more fodder if you are out of low-rank champions.
Fusing Oella
Oella is fused after players submit 4 copies of the Epic champion Merouka. These copies of the Epic champion must be 5-Star Ascended and Level 50. For each copy of the Epic fusion champion, players need to submit 4 copies of Shadowbow Tirlac which are 4-Star Ascended and Level 40. For all these feats, the players will need the following potions and chickens:
-
- Lesser Affinity Potions: 160 Spirit
- Greater Affinity Potions: 80 Magic, 64 Spirit
- Superior Affinity Potions: 24 Magic
- 80 Lesser Arcane Potions
- 108 Greater Arcane Potions
- 12 Superior Arcane Potions
- 48 x 3-Star Chickens
- 16 x 4-Star Chickens
For leveling champions, we recommend farming 12-3 brutal stage repeatedly or using your brews to level them.
That covers everything related to the February 2023 Valentine’s special fusion event for – Oella. To read more such guides, check out our Blog section where we cover the latest happenings at RSL for our lovely community.
