Reverse: 1999 remains to be one of the more popular turn-based RPGs to release in 2023, boasting lucrative animated characters to collect and use in tactical battles. The game derives entertainment from releasing new events to keep the players engaged. One such brand-new event, titled as “Floor It! To the Golden City” has just released and intrigued players with multiple stages to go through and different rewards to collect. This guide will help players clear the event in the given time and help you get access to the much-desirable rewards included.  

Event Overview

The Floor It! To the Golden City Event can already be seen live in-game as it started on 31st October, 2024 and ends on 3rd December, 2024. The premise of the event story is as follows – “The Timekeeper and her team of Arcanists have completed their trek through Vienna and the Golden Isle of Apeiron, and they now face San Francisco in 1990! New and familiar faces will appear, including everyone’s favourite SPDM genius monitor assistant, Matilda Bouanich. The primary storyline will introduce players to two new characters: rugged biker J and enchanting Mercuria, who will both have debut banners and character stories throughout the update.”

The event consists of a total of 22 stages, out of which some are story oriented and some are battle oriented. In the former stages, players can clear it by simply viewing the storyline. Do not worry, as skipping it will still count as a clear. In the battle stages, players need to defeat the specified group of enemies in the given number of turns. Failure to do so will result in a loss. Being successful will grant you resources like Clear Drops, and the event currency Spiritual Crystal Cluster. Players can then exchange the event currency in the event shop for even more lucrative items.

Mercuria: New 6-Star Character

Mercuria is a 6-star rarity character from the Spirit afflatus, doing Mental damage and belonging to the Support class. A figure who can grant buffs dependent on the rank of her allies’ incantations. Her Ultimate also grants all allies [Rank Up], a new buff that causes Incantations to be regarded as of higher rank when thrown. Check out all the abilities of Mercuria:

Morning Star for the Night (Ultimate ability) 

Massive attack. Dispels two random [Stats Up] and [Pos Status] effects from all foes, then deals 400% Mental DMG to them. Gives [Rank Up] to all allies for two rounds. 

Rank Up: If the invocation is subject to rank calculations, its rank is boosted by one (its intrinsic effects remain unaltered).

Restless Souls (1st active skill)

Level 1: 1-target attack. Deals 160% Mental DMG to an enemy and recovers (the user’s ATK x50%) HP for the ally with the lowest HP. For each rank 2/3 incantation in the AP Area, deals an additional 30%/50% Mental DMG, up to a maximum of 250%.

Level 2: 1-target attack. Deals 240% Mental DMG to an enemy and recovers (the user’s ATK x50%) HP for the ally with the lowest HP. For each rank 2/3 incantation in the AP Area, deals an additional 30%/50% Mental DMG, up to a maximum of 250%.

Level 3: 1-target attack. Deals 400% Mental DMG to an enemy and recovers (the user’s ATK x50%) HP for the ally with the lowest HP. For each rank 2/3 incantation in the AP Area, deals an additional 30%/50% Mental DMG, up to a maximum of 250%.

Self Focusing (1st active skill)

Level 1: Mass buff. Grants Critical Rate +20% to all allies for 2 rounds. Gain 4 additional stacks of [Cosmic Energy] for self for 2 rounds.

Level 2: Mass buff. Grants Critical Rate +25% to all allies for 2 rounds. Gain 5 additional stacks of [Cosmic Energy] for self for 2 rounds.

Level 3: Mass buff. Grants Critical Rate +30% to all allies for 2 rounds. Gain 6 additional stacks of [Cosmic Energy] for self for 2 rounds.

Cosmic Energy: Force Field: Each stack increases DMG Dealt by 2% for all allies (stackable up to 25 times, timed independently, undispellable).

J: New 6-Star Character

J is a 6-star rarity character from the Beast afflatus, doing Reality damage and belonging to the Sub DPS class. J specializes in dealing Reality DMG, providing Shields, and Counter Attacking when hit. When teammates wearing J’s shield are hit, he will counterattack all opponents and apply [Burn] to both them and himself. J’s [Burn] can purify [Freeze] and [Cold], as well as significantly boost his damage and shield efficiency. When J’s HP is low, his ability to do damage and resist negative conditions improves. Over the Haight Street! (Ultimate ability) 

Massive attack. Massive attack. All foes take 350% Reality DMG damage. Inflict the same number of [Burn] stacks on the targets as you do on yourself just before attacking. J does not gain [Burn] stacks from this attack, and each excess [Burn] stack on the main target results in an additional 10% Reality DMG.

Hardness Testing (1st active skill)

Level 1: 1-target attack. Deals 180% Reality DMG. Inflicts 2 stacks of [Burn] on the target hit. For every stack of [Burn] on self, grant all allies DMG Dealt +1% for 2 rounds.

Level 2: 1-target attack. Deals 270% Reality DMG. Inflicts 2 stacks of [Burn] on the target hit. For every stack of [Burn] on self, grant all allies DMG Dealt +1% for 2 rounds.

Level 3: 1-target attack. Deals 450% Reality DMG. Inflicts 2 stacks of [Burn] on the target hit. For every stack of [Burn] on self, grant all allies DMG Dealt +1% for 2 rounds.

Heat Treating (1st active skill)

Level 1: Mass counter. Grants all allies a [Shield] with (J’s ATK x100%) HP for 2 rounds, with each stack of [Burn] on self granting an additional 3% Shield Factor. After an ally holding a Shield is attacked, J ripostes with [Tempering].

Level 2: Mass counter. Grants all allies a [Shield] with (J’s ATK x150%) HP for 2 rounds, with each stack of [Burn] on self granting an additional 3% Shield Factor. After an ally holding a Shield is attacked, J ripostes with [Tempering].

Level 3: Mass counter. Grants all allies a [Shield] with (J’s ATK x250%) HP for 2 rounds, with each stack of [Burn] on self granting an additional 3% Shield Factor. After an ally holding a Shield is attacked, J ripostes with [Tempering].

Tempering: Massive Attack. All foes receive 30% Reality DMG. Targets hit receive two stacks of [Burn]. Deals an extra 10% Reality DMG for every 10% of one’s own HP gone.
