Revived Witch - The Best Tips and Tricks to Help You Progress and Win Battles
Yostar’s newest game, Revived Witch, combines amazing visuals with an interesting combat system, as well as with exploration and puzzle mechanics, resulting in a game that is definitely a treat to both behold and play. However, if you want to get the best start in this game, you’ll need a few tips and tricks, which is exactly why we wrote this guide.
Play on BlueStacks to Enjoy Superior Controls and Unlock the Best Characters From the Start
By itself, Revived Witch looks absolutely amazing. The 2D pixel art with the 3D lighting, as well as the plethora of combat effects and animations make this game a feast for the eyes. However, this doesn’t mean that you can’t improve it by playing it on a better platform.
Instead of playing on your phone, you can play Revived Witch on PC with BlueStacks, our Android app player, and enjoy this game on a large computer monitor, and with a smooth 60 FPS that will help to convey the best possible image, without having to break the bank on an expensive phone.
Aside from the best performance, though, BlueStacks also lets you play Revived Witch with your mouse and keyboard, or even a gamepad. Moreover, our emulator gives you access to a plethora of tools to further enhance your gameplay, such as by allowing you to reroll with multiple accounts at the same time and unlock the best characters from the start.

Interact With Everything You Find
This goes without saying, but when it comes to the exploration in Revived Witch, you should always interact with everything you find. Whether it’s a switch or a chest, there’s a chance that you’ll find something of value, either for solving a puzzle in the room, or as useful items for upgrading your team later on.
You can always find interactable objects shown on your minimap, which brings us to our next point.
The Minimap is Your Best Friend
As we said just now, during your exploration, you’ll come across a variety of elements such as chests, switches, and other interactable objects. These elements might not be immediately apparent, though, but they always show up on your minimap. Moreover, your map also shows elements that might be hidden or out of sight. In this sense, it’s a good habit to always keep an eye on it whenever you reach a new area, just to make sure you’re not missing out on anything.
It’s also worth pointing out that your minimap also shows the number of chests in the area, as well as how many you’ve opened. This is a good way to know if you’ve already found all the goodies in any room, without having to worry too much about exploring every nook and cranny.
Save Chaos Energy For Emergencies
While it might seem like a good idea to just wail on your enemies until they fall, and for the most part this is actually a good plan, some enemies might require a different approach to defeating them. In some cases, whenever you’re going up against the tougher bosses, you’ll constantly need to interrupt their skills to avoid taking too much damage, such as by using Octavia’s “Mind’s Eye” skill.
Some of these skills, however, cost Chaos Energy to use, which is only generated every time you use Order Skills that, in turn, require Order Energy, a resource that regenerates automatically over time. And since your Chaos Energy is completely dependent on spending Order Energy, the skills that use it won’t always be available, especially at the beginning of a fight. For this reason, it’s always a good idea to keep a few points of Chaos Energy always on standby in case you need to interrupt an enemy, or you need to use a skill in a pinch.
Going back to the previous example, you should always try to save at least 3 Chaos Energy at any given moment, just in case you need to interrupt an enemy using Mind’s Eye. And the same principle applies for any other important skills that you might need at a moment’s notice.
Pay Attention to Your Character Types and Elements When Building a Formation
Despite the world, exploration, and puzzle solving being such important parts of Revived Witch, combat is still one of its main challenges, especially when dealing with the tougher enemies. Nevertheless, regardless of the foe you’re going up against, you should always optimize your formation so that you’re always ready to throw down against any opponent.
Like with any other gacha, one of the aspects you need to consider is the types of characters you take to battle. Specifically, there six main types of characters in Revived Witch, each of which can fulfill a determined role within a formation:
- Guardian: The dedicated tanks of the group, with high defenses and skills to shield their allies.
- Assassin: Characters who can deal high burst damage, as well as target enemies in the back rows.
- Healer: The dedicated support units of the bunch, with lots of strong healing skills.
- Destroyer: Characters that can deal high sustained physical damage.
- Compeller: Support characters that specialize in buffs and debuffs, while also offering some heals.
- Mage: Similar to Destroyers, but with magic damage instead of physical.
It’s important to strike a balance between the different roles so that you not only maximize your damage output, but also survive even the most dangerous encounters. A good idea here would be to take at least one Guardian and one Healer, and the rest should be characters that can deal tons of damage.
Another aspect you must consider is the elements of the characters you include in your formation. This is because, when all the units in your main group have the same element, you instantly get a 10% boost to their HP, ATK, and DEF. Moreover, if the characters in both your main and backup groups have the same element, this boost is increased to 15%.
And with that, you have everything you need to get started in Revived Witch. As you progress, you’ll unlock more features and game modes that add more complexity to the game. However, with the tips and tricks in this guide, you’ll be able to blaze through the story and early game missions.
