Schoolboy Runaway – Stealth is an exciting stealth game which involves finding a way out of your house after your parents have kept you from going out to play with your friends. While the premise of the game is quite simple, new users may find it difficult to navigate the game and its various aspects. Tip #1 – Make Use Of Practice Mode

While it may be enticing to jump right into the game (and there’s nothing wrong with that!) players may find it difficult to navigate the game in the first go. For this reason, we recommend using the practice mode available in-game to hone your skills. The practice mode allows you to roam around the map of the house without any of the repercussions present in the rest of the modes. This way, you can get a feel for the controls of the game, the positions of various items such as the doorbell and the exhaust fan, which are essential for you to plan your escape.

Tip #2 – Rummage Through The Cupboards

Schoolboy Runaway’s map is just like that of a normal home. It has desks, cupboards, cabinets,etc. and all of these contain a variety of items which will be helpful for you to escape the house. Start with your own room, in which the game begins, and move on to the bathroom, the kitchen (be careful though, your mom is cooking here!), and the bedroom (careful again, your dad’s watching TV!). In these cupboards and cabinets you will find items such as a hammer, a screwdriver, nails, etc. which will be essential to help you escape unnoticed. 

Tip #3 – Don’t Wait Too Long

One of the most compelling aspects of Schoolboy Runaway is the fact that your mom and dad in the game act in the same way people would in real life. Distract them too many times and they will get suspicious and come to check on you. For this reason, it is a good idea to plan exactly what you are going to do before you do it; just like a naughty kid wanting to escape their house would in real life. Plan your escape, move quickly, and don’t get caught!

Tip #4 – Beware Of The Dog

If you have somehow managed to get out of the house, don’t get excited too quickly. Your canine friend (or foe) awaits patiently near the front door, and if you get too close it will make a lot of noise which will attract your parents’ attention. Make sure to not get too close to the dog or irritate it in any manner, or else all your hard work will go down the drain and mom and dad will make you sweep the floor again as punishment.

Tip #5 – Make Use of In-Game Tips

It is easy, and normal, to feel stuck when playing Schoolboy Runaway. The makers of the game probably knew this, which is why the game has a “tip” button on the top left corner, which grants you access to three tips while you are playing. If you are ever stuck and don’t know what to do, make use of the “tip” button, which will help you out with a clue for where you need to look. When you click the tip button, a yellow box will show up on screen, pointing in the general direction of where the clue is. Walk towards the clue, and make use of it, but be careful not to get caught!
