STARSEED: Asnia Trigger is a brand-new real time RPG that sees you travelling into a virtual simulation and greeted by AI girls. These girls will act as your guide in your adventure to quell the chaos caused by Redshift, a hostile AI that has gone rogue. Players can summon and collect unique Proxyans, powerful engineered fighting machines that excel in combat situations. Train them and harness their full potential to bring peace once again. In this guide, we will be diving deep into the gameplay mechanics to help new players get a gist of the game.

Understand the Combat Mechanics of STARSEED: Asnia Trigger

STARSEED: Asnia Trigger boasts a real-time tactical combat system wherein players have little to no control or the ability to manually intervene. The battles happen automatically as your characters are controlled by AI (Artificial Intelligence). Players can reap the benefits of quality-of-life features such as 3X battle speed and Auto battle mode. If you switch off the auto battle mode, your characters will not use their special ability on their own and instead you will need to cast them manually by selecting an area or target.

Special abilities are what makes your characters unique and special. The game boasts fluid and crisp animations for all character abilities, making them entertaining to watch. Your characters will gain “energy” whenever they kill enemies, deal damage, or take damage. This energy will be displayed in the form of a blue bar at the bottom of their avatar.

When this bar is full, your character’s special attack or ultimate ability will be ready to use. Simply click on their avatar to launch the attack. The green bar on top of the characters represents their total HP. If this bar falls to 0, your character will fall in battle. The same mechanics apply to the enemy characters as well.

The real strategy lies in analysing the enemy formations and choosing a suitable tactic. For those wondering, tactics are essentially recommended team formations that are saved pre-sets for players to choose from. You can choose to create your own tactic or pick one from the choices presented. At the start, you can bring up to 5 characters to battle in teams. Ensure you’re bringing the strongest one’s on your account for the highest CP (combat power) value. CP is a cumulative stat that compares your strength to other players. Even before you start a battle, you can view the recommended CP value.

The Recruitment System Explained

Players can summon R-SSR proxyans via the innate gacha system known as “Recruit” in the official in-game terminology. This system unlocks quite early on after you complete the tutorial. You should see multiple different types of banners, featuring different characters. These banners require different currencies to summon on, namely Starbits and Pickup Proxyan Tickets. The rate-up banners feature a specific Proxyan that will have a 40% chance of being summoned if you manage to summon an SSR character. The rates of summoning the different rarities of Proxyan are as follows:

  • SSR Proxyan – 4% chance to be summoned
  • SR Proxyan – 50% chance to be summoned
  • R Proxyan – 46% chance to be summoned

Proxyans

Proxyans in STARSEED: Asnia Trigger are your core bread & butter characters that can be summoned via the innate recruitment system. They come in different rarities, with the lowest being Rare and the highest being SSR. The higher the rarity of the Proxyan, the better stats and abilities they will boast. It’s recommended that you acquire the strongest Proxyans in the game for a smoother transition to mid-game/end-game stages. Proxyans possess multiple unique active and passive abilities that are used extensively in battles.

Players can also enhance their acquired Proxyans through different processes. For example, you can level up your Proxyans for an increase in core base stats such as attack, defense, and health. You can also promote Proxyans by combining them with other proxyans of the same rarity and grade. Players can also directly increase the utility and value of skills via skill enhancement. All of these tasks require tons of resources and you will be grinding for hours in search of them. However, all of these gruesome tasks are well worth the wait and rewards!

Playing STARSEED: Asnia Trigger on a bigger screen of your PC or Laptop with BlueStacks without worrying about battery drainage is highly recommended.
