Tip #1. Understand the Character Roles

Tokyo Ghoul: Break the Chains has a range of characters with diverse roles, including tanks, damage dealers, and support units. Some emphasize brute offensive power, while others excel in defense or utility.  Ghouls excel at high-damage strikes and regenerating powers. Characters like as Ken Kaneki and Shu Tsukiyama have excellent melee abilities and health regeneration, making them lethal in close battle. Prioritize attack and health while creating these characters. 

CCG heroes like Koutarou Amon and Juuzou Suzuya specialize in crowd management and ranged combat. They rely on speed, tactical precision, and ranged weapons. Improve their agility and precision to optimize their effectiveness.

Tip #3. Improve the Strength of your Characters

Much like any other RPG game, Tokyo Ghoul: Break The Chains also allows players to increase the strength of characters they have acquired. In fact, it is much needed since the entirety of the game’s combat revolves around CP (Combat Power). CP refers to a cumulative number assigned to each character based on their total power and stats. Before starting any match, players will be able to view the total CP of their opponents. If your team’s CP is higher, the match will go smoothly and chances of your victory are higher.

Players can enhance their character’s level to give them more stats. To do so, you would require hero experience that drops from story stages, quests, idle rewards, boss campaign, and events. If you manage to summon duplicates of any character, you can even star-up your characters and give them access to unique powerful abilities. Other power-up methods include forging a strong bond with the character by giving them presents. Doing so will unlock their exclusive equipment which further provides more stats and empowers certain abilities to increase their utility. 

Tip #4. Do not Forget about Events! 

One of the main attractions of playing live-service games like Tokyo Ghoul: Break The Chains remains to be the titular events that are extremely rewarding to all types of players. There’s also an exciting CP rush event going on that rewards you based on how high your CP gets in 14 days. Characters come in different rarities, with the lowest ones being rated N and the highest ones being rated as LR. The higher the base rarity of a character, the more powerful they are considered due to better base stats, and stronger abilities.
