Methods to Get Stronger in Tower of God: New World

First and foremost, Tower of God: New World is a gacha game that harbors a meticulous gacha system through which players can obtain the strongest heroes. Each hero is assigned a base rarity that denotes their base stats, and the quality of their abilities. The highest rarity of heroes is SSR+, and the lowest being R. Naturally, you would want more of SSR+ heroes rather than R heroes in your team. Do not worry, as even the lowest rarity heroes can be advanced via different methods to make them stronger. There are multiple methods through which you can enhance your character’s stats and abilities:

Shinsoo Link

The entire narrative of Tower of God is based off the mysterious magical energy that fluctuates throughout the universe – Shinsoo. Regulars who can harness the power of this energy and combine it with their own can get multiple times stronger than those who cannot. Well, the same narrative plays out in Tower of God: New World. The Shinsoo Link is an amazing feature located in the Growth menu on the bottom right-hand side. Players will see 5 slots, each taken up by their own heroes. Of course, the heroes can be replaced but the slots are permanent. 

Each slot can be enhanced to the highest grades by consuming a currency called “Soul Crystal”. Players can get more of these currencies whenever they summon an SSR or above rarity hero from the gacha system. Duplicate heroes also give Soul Crystals. Additionally, you get some Soul Crystals as rewards from quests, achievements, events, and more. Each slot has their own set of base attack, defense, and HP that they provide to the heroes placed in them. It directly enhances the stats of the heroes. Make sure to keep empowering your Shinsoo Links to automatically enhance the combat power of your heroes. 

Keep in mind that you can also level up these slots to enhance the base stats by a certain percentage. For levelling up a lot, you will need the required amount of Coins, Shinsu, and Link EXP. Again, all of these currencies can be obtained via quests, idle rewards, story mode, events, and other avenues in the game. 

Proficiency

The character’s Proficiency level is important in the game since it unlocks buffs that improve their abilities and provide valuable benefits. As characters earn experience and progress through the game, their proficiency level rises. You can simply access and manage this aspect from the character’s proficiency menu.

Focusing on boosting a character’s Proficiency level allows you to unlock new skills, increase their fighting performance, and discover more content that enhances the game experience. You can gain a set amount of Proficiency EXP by defeating opponents in various game formats. However, once a Teammate has reached Proficiency Level 10, they will no longer gain Proficiency EXP when using that character in battle. Instead, they will receive Instruction Manuals as an incentive.

Rapport

Rapport determines how close you are to the character. It denotes the proximity between you and the character. Players can increase the rapport of their characters by providing them with Gifts. Gifts come in different rarities and types. Certain characters require certain type of gifts that suit them and greatly enhance their rapport. As you increase the Rapport level of your characters, you will start to see multiple boosts acquired by them in the form of additive stats. There are multiple levels of Rapport, each rewarding you with Diamonds or other exclusive items such as frames. 

Equipment

As Tower of God: New World is an RPG, you will get many chances to improve the strength of your characters. One such important method of getting more stats for your characters is by equipping them with strong sets of gear. Players can do so by simply using the auto-equip feature provided by the game that chooses the best pieces of gear from your account and equips them to your character. 

Limit Break

Perhaps the most important and rewarding way of getting your characters stronger is by limit breaking them to higher star levels. Not only does this boost their skills but also provides them with permanent stats along the way. Sadly, this is also the most expensive method as it requires multiple duplicates of that character to be summoned.
