Being an orthodox Idle RPG that mixes elements of strategy/survival games, Wild Survival – Idle Defense presents itself as a unique portrait-oriented game. We have compiled a host of personalized tips that will help you survive longer, and get your hands on those juicy meat bones to upgrade your survivor. One of the best ways to ensure a great head-start is by viewing a beginner’s guide that details all about the gameplay mechanics.
Tip #1. Choosing an Easy Tier
As a new player in Wild Survival – Idle Defense, we would highly recommend to choose a low tier such as Tier 1 or Tier 2, depending on your knowledge and proficiency. This is simply because of the fact that as a new player you will not have enough resources to take on the bigger monsters. In fact, the weapon buffs do not even unlock for an account that has not yet reached wave 50 in any tier. With such a high requirement imposed on a new player, it’s better to stick to your roots and start from the basic tiers.
Tip #2. Upgrading your Buffs
Perhaps this tip should not even be included, as it’s the most generic one. However, many players tend to skip prioritizing which buffs should be upgraded first. This happens mostly due to the fact that all of them are lucrative. As a personalized choice, we would recommend players to go for investing a slight number of upgrades into increasing permanent health, and the rest of the meat into increasing permanent attack damage and attack speed. This will ensure that you survive easily up to Waves 10 and beyond.
Tip #3. Understanding the Different Attributes
As a new player coming to Wild Survival – Idle Defense, it’s very important to learn about all the different attributes that exist in the game. Here’s a short description on each of them:
- Attack – Damage each projectile deals to enemies.
- Upgrade – Speed of projectiles that are fired from your weapon towards monsters.
- Critical Chance – Chance of each projectile to deal critical damage.
- Critical Factor – Damage multiplier for critical hits.
- Health – Maximum health of your character
- Health Regen – Amount of health regenerated per second
- Meat Reward – Meat earned from all source’s multiplier (includes wave bonus)
- Meat/Wave – Meat earned after completing a wave.
Tip #4. Researching More Buffs and Upgrades
The Workshop in Wild Survival – Idle Defense can be seen in the bottom left-hand side corner of the user interface. This denotes your ability to research more buffs and permanently increase them in-game. The higher you upgrade the buffs out of game, the better for your Survivor in-game as they will start with an upgraded amount of stats. Keep in mind that you will require spending Gold Coins to upgrade the different buffs. You can even unlock more buffs at different tiers. Since Wild Survival – Idle Defense is an offline supportive game, it can also be played casually anytime and anywhere, making it easy to rack up the coins.
Tip #5. Watching More Advertisements
Fancy some more extra resources? Well, the advertisements are always waiting for you! Not only do they offer you a bunch of extra resources in the shop, such as Diamonds, Gold Coins, and more, but they also help you survive longer. Yes, you can watch an advertisement upon your death to grant you an extra life. They can be quite handy and bountiful if you have the time on your hands.
