Tip #1. Learn the Formation Strategies 

Create a balanced formation consisting of tanks, DPS (damage dealers), and support heroes. Tanks can absorb damage, while DPS may deal it. Support heroes can heal or provide buffs/debuffs. Use heroes whose elements complement one another. Certain elemental combinations can result in substantial advantages such as improved attack or defense. 

Place tanks in front to protect your squishier heroes in the backline. Healers and ranged DPS should be positioned in the back to escape direct damage. Formation organization is the key aspect between a new player and a veteran in X-Samkok. Players need to preview vulnerabilities in the enemy’s team and strategize accordingly. 

Tip #2. Complete the Tutorial

The tutorial in X-Samkok is comprehensive, ensuring that players comprehend the game’s essential mechanics. It starts with an overview of the game’s UI, emphasizing important menus and features. You’ll learn how to browse the main screen, switch between game modes, and comprehend the structure of various in-game items.

The tutorial then walks you through the fundamentals of creating your party. You’ll choose your basic characters, learn about their duties, and figure out how to organize them in your formation. This phase is critical since it establishes the framework for your future fighting strategy. Later on, it even covers the basic combat mechanics in detail for the player to learn and master. 

Tip #3. Utilize the Training Center

In the training center, players will be able to upgrade their owned heroes. Now, owning a set of strong heroes is one thing but they will be of no use if they are not upgraded. X-Samkok features many tropes of RPGs such as upgrading your characters and making them stronger through different processes. One of the core processes is leveling up your hero to increase their base stats. After you level them up to a certain point of time, they will hit a roadblock. Players will then need to use a separate currency to rank up the hero so it could go to even higher levels.

At level 26, you will also unlock the ability to embed stratagems in all heroes. These powerful gems can give enhanced attributes to the wielder, and increase their base stats. Lastly, you can also star-up the hero but this is a tougher process since you will be required to feed them a duplicate. You can star-up heroes multiple times to enhance their abilities and even grant new ones.  

Tip #4. Claim the Idle Rewards!

At its core, X-Samkok is an Idle game and that means it is a retreat for casual players. Even while you’re not playing the game actively or even logged in, you are still eligible to earn a set of rewards called the “Idle Rewards”. The game will automatically store some experience, gear, silver, and adventure points each day, up to a maximum of 24 hours. Players can choose to claim these rewards any time of the day. The quality of the rewards depends on how far you have progressed in the campaign mode.  

The higher stage you reach in the campaign mode, the better quality of rewards and additional slots will be unlocked. It’s best recommended to make the best use out of this feature by claiming the rewards only once per day. Let the rewards fill in, and only claim them once you are done playing for the day.

Tip #5. Recruit the Strongest Heroes

X-Samkok employs a handy gacha system that provides players the opportunity to recruit the strongest heroes in the game, albeit with a slight percentage. For those unaware, all heroes in the game have a base rarity assigned to them. This rarity determines the quality of their base stats, their abilities, and even their place in the meta. The highest rarity is S+, while the lowest rarity is Rare. It’s crucial that you make use of higher rarity heroes and not waste precious resources on upgrading low rarity heroes.
