ZOZ: Final Hour is a third person shooter RPG that combines elements of both standard Battle Royales and standalone death matches. Set in a dank, and post-apocalyptic world of zombie warfare, you role-play as a hired mercenary to collect Blood Crystals and evacuate the city. The first one to collect 5 Blood Crystals and evacuate the city wins the game, and subsequently the entire match. Best your enemies, and beware of your surroundings, as even human mercenaries are your opponents! ZOZ: Final Hour is available to be downloaded and installed as a free-to-play game on both the Google Play Store and iOS App Store. 

In this article for ZOZ: Final Hour, we will be providing some of our personally observed tips and tricks that will fetch you a higher win rate in your matches. ZOZ: Final Hour is a competitive third person shooter that see’s you fight with human mercenaries and zombie mercenaries to contest Blood Crystal. We would highly recommend to implement the tips below in order to win more games.

Tip #1. Make sure to Utilize the Safehouse

Safehouse is a safe building that acts like the safe space for all players in the game. No shooting, or zombies are allowed in a Safehouse. This is also the place where all players in the game can respawn once they die on the battlefield. Sadly, their location is not optimal to win the game due to the lack of Blood Crystals surrounding the area. Safehouses can host many people and often act as strategic points. They should not be avoided but utilized in a strategic manner, in case you are injured or out of ammo. 

Tip #2. Robbing Blood Crystals

When it comes to winning the entire game, the only pre-requisite in the game is to have 5 Blood Crystals and get evacuated from the city in a chopper. Being an PvP-oriented game, players have complete freedom to steal/rob Blood Crystals that are collected by enemies by directly killing them. While this is a challenging task, and may result in loss of your own life instead, it’s a popular tactic used by majority of the players. Simply get a weapon and start firing towards an opponent human mercenary to kill them. Once they are dead, you can rob their bodies and collect their belongings, including any Blood Crystals they have.

Tip #3. Killing Incubators 

In ZOZ: Final Hour, there exist a special type of zombie variant that have the ability to regenerate with Blood Crystals over time. They are called as “Incubators”. These zombies are essentially NPCs that can offer you Blood Crystals upon their death. You can rob their bodies when they are shot down by anybody. It’s quite easy to kill an Incubator, making them rare to find but they definitely act as a free Blood Crystal to any lucky player who finds it.

Tip #4. Understanding the different types of Mutants

In ZOZ: Final Hour, you can find a plethora of mutants that will fetch you with bonus effects and also are equipped with unique mechanics as a whole. Here are all the different types of Mutants available in the game: 

• Crystal Hound 

• Incubator

• Yellow Can

• Crawler

• Glutton

• Putrid Puker

• Joker

• Buster

• Shielder

• Mangler 

Tip #5. Simply Mutate upon Death

If you feel that you are defeated and killed rigorously and have no other way to comeback into the game, a last straw of an option called as “Mutation” is always going to be available for you. This process let’s you take over the body of a mutant and respawn as a zombie mercenary. This transformation has it’s own set of pros and cons, regarding which we will not go into much depth in this article. Your goal as a zombie mercenary is going to be stopping other human mercenaries from collecting Blood Crystals and defeating them.
