South Korean mobile game developer, Devsisters, has announced that its upcoming title Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures will launch on iOS and Android platforms in 2024. No specific date was announced. 

Cookie Run is a series of endless mobile running games that takes place in a world with sentient gingerbread cookies that were brought to life by a witch. Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures, formerly known as “Project B”, is one of three new Cookie Run games that Devsisters announced last January 2022. The other games are Cookie Run: Witch’s Castle, a puzzle-based game, and Cookie Run: Oven Smash, a real-time battle arena game.

Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures is developed by Oven Games, a studio under Devsisters. This new title is the very first Cookie Run game to feature 3D graphics and it will focus on action combat gameplay with co-op features. It will also be a free-to-play game although microtransactions are going to be in the game. More information about the gameplay will be revealed during the G-Star 23 Expo, which will be held from November 16 – 19, 2023 in Busan, South Korea. A demo of Cookie Run: Tower of Adventures will be playable in the event. Interestingly, the game will also have a PC demo in the event.

The new Cookie Run game will introduce “new ways to play and interact with new and familiar cookies from the CookieRun IP”, according to Devsisters. As seen in the game’s webpage, Cookie Run: Tower of Adventure highlights casual co-op action and adventure.

Players will be helping the Cookies climb the Pancake Tower by using the Cookies’ skills and abilities and by working with friends through co-op play. Additionally, the game will also have a story mode where players can immerse themselves in an adventure into the gingerbread world with the option to play with friends.
