E3 2016: Besthesda unveils Quake Champions, Skyrim Special Edition & Prey plus major game updates
At E3 2016, Besthesda game publisher unveiled new games; Quake Champions, Skyrim Special Edition and Prey plus major game updates for DOOM, Fallout and two Elder Scrolls games. Dishonored 2 gameplay trailer was premiered as well. Here’s a briefing of the new video games.
Quake Champions was unveiled. The new multiplayer shooter features unique characters with difference abilities, competitive arena challenges, high end performance running at 120hz and unlocked frame rates. We were teased with the game and will now more when QuakeCon commences August 4–7th.
Skyrim Special Edition was unveiled for PS4, Xbox One and PC and releases on October 28th. It features remastered art and effects, volumetric god rays, dynamic depth of field, screen-space reflections and will support full PC Mods on console.
Prey is a first-person sci-fi action game that reimagines the franchise from the ground up… with an added psychological twist. Prey will be available on PS4, Xbox One and PC in 2017.
The Elder Scrolls Online releases two updates. Dark Brotherhood features stealthy killer assassins with murderous piercing knives and will be available this week. One Tamriel update allows players to go anywhere and group with anyone, regardless of their level.
The Elder Scrolls: Legends will allow you to change the course of Elder Scrolls history through its rich story-driven campaign and strategic card-based gameplay. It will be available for iOS, Mac and Android later this year.

Dishonored 2 features super natural assassins in a steampunk city. It will release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One and PC globally on November 11, 2016.
Besthesda announced many updates to Fallout Shelter including Quests, an all-new combat system, new characters, enemies, and locations to explore. Fallout 4 will receive Contraptions Workshop, Vault-Tec Workshop and Nuka-World add-on. Doom will receive free updates for limited time of SnapMap construction mods for players to expand upon. Besthesda VR will allow gamers a virtual tour of hell in new DOOM game or wander the wasteland in Fallout 4. Besthesda VR is set to released in 2017 on HTC Vive platform.
