New characters are arriving
As per the leaks and data miners, Kamisato Ayato will be joining the game’s roster as a new playable Hydro character. The character banner for Ayato will most likely arrive in the initial phase of the patch.
Leakers have reasonably anticipated the addition of a banner for the much-awaited Ayato. He is a five-star Hydro Sword user, the elder brother to Kamisato Ayaka, and leader (commissioner) of the Yashiro Commission in Inazuma.
The latter half is most likely to bring banner reruns for characters like Kamisato Ayaka, Venti or Kaedehara Kazuha. Another leak suggests an unreleased character, Dainsleif (or Dain), can also make its way via the new update.
New events based on Irodori Festival and more
Like every new update, developers run different events and Gennshin Impact 2.6 update is no different. According to leaks, the upcoming patch will introduce new events to Genshin Impact. The patch is likely to include “Selfie event,” “Hues of the Violet Court (Irodori Festival),” “Spices from the West,” and Vibro-Crystal Research.
The upcoming events, especially the Irodori Festival-themed, will include multiple minigames, story quests, characters, and more. Players will be able to procure a variety of rewards by participating and completing the required tasks.
