The worldwide phenomenon, Genshin Impact, the Chinese game house miHoYo’s action RPG celebrates its one-year anniversary, and for this event, the creators of the game have revealed a host of new events and rewards for its users. Currently halfway through its Version 2.1 update, the game has seen several changes in its first year alone, including updates to the quality of life, housing, and fishing. The update brought with it new playable characters, new weapons for players to unlock and use, and also additional limited-time events. 

For its one-year anniversary celebrations, miHoYo has announced several events that are spread out across the months of September and October and have several exciting prizes including Primogems, Apple AirPods, iPhones, and more. Along with this, the creators of the game are also hosting web events, cosplay and fan art contests, and video and photography competitions in order to celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary.

As mentioned, there are several events, spread out across the months of September and October for users to play through and enjoy, and many of these are already underway. Following is a list of all the events that have been announced as part of the one-year anniversary celebrations, their start and end dates, and the rewards users can expect when partaking in these events.

“The Promise of a Worldly Encounter” Photo Submission Contest

Beginning on September 1st and running through to October 11th, this is a photo submission contest, the submissions for which will be accepted via HoYoLAB. The rewards for this event include Primogems, Paimon Food Theme Blind Box (Full Set), Trick-or-Treat Party-themed Merchandise Set (Random Character), and a 1-month subscription to Discord Nitro.

“The Promise of a Worldly Encounter” Fan Art Submission Contest 

Beginning on September 16th and running through to October 17th, this is a fan art submission contest for which submissions will be accepted on HoYoLAB. The rewards for this event include Primogems, Apple iPad 10.2″, Apple AirPods, and a Trick-or-Treat Party-themed Merchandise Set (Random Character).

Also beginning on September 16th and running through to October 17th, this is a video submission contest for which submissions will be accepted on HoYoLAB. The rewards for this event include Primogems, Apple AirPods, Razor DeathAdder V2, and a Trick-or-Treat Party-themed Merchandise Set (Random Character).

Beginning on September 22nd and running through to October 20th, this is a cosplay submission contest, the submissions for which will be accepted on HoYoLAB. The rewards for this event include Primogems, Apple AirPods, Razor DeathAdder V2, and a Fateful Gift Series Merchandise Set (Random Character).

The Anniversary Congratulatory Art Repost Prize Giveaway

Beginning on September 25th and running through to September 29th, this is an art repost giveaway that will be hosted on Genshin Impact’s official social media accounts including Twitter and Facebook. The prizes for this event include three iPhone 13 Pro Max up for grabs and people can share daily to participate in the raffle for cash prizes.

Genshin Impact Anniversary Event “Recording Your Anniversary Memories” 

Beginning on September 28th and running through to October 7th, this event will also be hosted on the official social media accounts of Genshin Impact. A total of 1000 winners will be selected for this event. The prize for this event is 100 Primogems.

“An Unforgettable Journey” Web Event 

Beginning on September 28th and running through to October 12th, this event will allow players of the game to reminisce on their past year of playing Genshin Impact through their own ‘theatre’. The rewards for this event include Primogems, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Hero’s Wit. Players are also free to exchange rewards with their friends.

“A Message in Time” Web Event

Beginning on September 29th and running through to October 7th this event allows users to create their own 1st Anniversary cards and submit them to enter a raffle. A Blessing of the Welkin Moon will be given to 10% of those who enter the contest and the rest of the participants will receive 100,000 Mora.

Genshin Impact Anniversary Event “Let’s Solve Word Puzzles” 

Beginning on October 7th and running through to October 13th. Participation in this event will happen through Genshin Impact’s official Twitter and Facebook accounts. 1000 participants of this event will receive 100 Primogems as a reward.

Although some users have voiced their concerns regarding these events, they are still a fun way for fans of Genshin Impact to celebrate the game’s one-year anniversary.

Genshin Impact on BlueStacks 5

Genshin Impact is available for both Android and iOS, through Google Play Store and App Store respectively.
