SuperGaming's Latest Project, Indus Battle Royale Mobile, Surpasses 7 Million Pre-Registrations Prior to Inaugural Esports Tournament
SuperGaming, the creator of well-known games such as MaskGun and Silly Royale, has revealed that its newest venture, Indus Battle Royale Mobile, an innovative Indo battle royale set in the future, has exceeded seven million pre-registrations on Google Play. This announcement comes just before the game’s first competitive event, the Indus Esports Invitational, which is slated for October 28, 2023.
Indus Battle Royale Mobile, a game centered around the Indus Valley civilization, takes place in an imagined universe where civilization has progressed and relocated to another galaxy. The game’s objective is to highlight Indian culture through its historical background, traditional medicine, advanced weaponry, mathematical advancements, and more. The game holds significance as it is uncommon to see Indian representation in video games, and the developers are keen to display Indian culture through various aspects.
The Indus Esports Invitational will host six renowned teams: Orangutan, Godlike Esports, Team 8bit, Global Esports, Enigma Gaming, and Reckoning Esports. These teams will be joined by several other Indus Battle Royale Mobile content creators, community members, and winners from previously conducted playtests. The tournament offers a prize pool of Rs 10,00,000 INR, with the winners receiving Rs. 5,00,000 and the runners-up, third-place, and fourth place receiving Rs. 2,50,000, Rs. 1,00,000, and Rs. 50,000 respectively. The most valuable player (MVP) at the Indus Esports Invitational will be awarded Rs. 1,00,000.
The tournament will take place on Virlok, Indus Battle Royale Mobile’s immersive map, which features improved controls, design balances, and enhancements to the visuals and animations. This will mark the fifth time the game is available to the public, and as always, all feedback collected will be utilized to improve the player experience.
Roby John, the CEO of SuperGaming, expressed his gratitude for the community’s response to Indus Battle Royale Mobile, stating, “We’re grateful for the community’s response to Indus. Since our last community playtest in our studio, we feel we’re ready to see how the game performs in competitive environments featuring India’s top teams. We’re thankful for their support in creating India’s most ambitious battle royale to date”.
Pre-registrations for Indus Battle Royale Mobile will continue on Google Play, but enthusiastic players also have the opportunity to win a key for the ongoing closed beta. The official Discord channel frequently drops keys, so keep a lookout for them.
The Indus Esports Invitational can be viewed live on the Indus Discord server, with slots available on a “first come, first serve” basis. This tournament is not just a competition, but also a platform for players to share their thoughts on various aspects of the game and influence the direction of Indus Battle Royale Mobile.
With over 7 million pre-registrations and a highly anticipated esports tournament, Indus Battle Royale Mobile is poised to make a substantial impact on the gaming landscape, especially in India, where the gaming industry is experiencing rapid expansion.
