Instagram has updated their app with a new icon, plus simpler overall design to empathize more focus on photos and videos. The user experience is still the same, with majority of navigation on the bottom however with minimalistic use of white backgrounds with charcoal icons. The company has also updated their other apps’ icons as well; Layout, Boomerang, and Hyperlapse.
