Tencent’s Class-Based Fantasy MMORPG ‘Tarisland’ Enters Closed Beta in Select Regions
Tencent Games’ newest MMORPG title, ‘Tarisland’ has just been confirmed to have entered its closed beta phase in select regions for Android devices. For the uninitiated, Tarisland is an upcoming fantasy MMORPG by Tencent and Level Infinite that is expected to be available on Android, iOS, and PC as a cross-platform experience.
In contrast to titles that offer players the option to purchase advantages, Tarisland ensures a fair and balanced playing field for all participants. Within the game, players have the freedom to choose from seven thrilling classes, joining forces with other players to partake in exciting raids. Notably, Tarisland takes a distinct approach by strictly excluding the sale of items in the game’s shop that affect character attributes and ATK.
“You will experience a fair and classic cross-platform MMORPG, where Pay-to-Win is strictly forbidden,” Tencent assured players in a blog post. “You can group up with reliable teammates and enjoy the hardcore fun of raids.”
The seven different classes that will be playable at the time of Tarisland’s launch include the Ranger, Paladin, Warrior, Mage, Priest, Bard, and the Barbarian Fighter.
